October 3-5 I attended the annual Border League in Nevada at various high schools. Coronado and Silverado high schools were a couple of the main sites where college coaches were watching the talent from across the country.

Here were some of the Senior Standout forwards I watched

[player_tooltip player_id='2045301' first='Vaughn' last='Karvala'] Bella Vista Prep EYBL (Pictured)

A bigger wing forward who can shoot the cover off the ball from the three point line. He has a pure stroke and it looks good every attempt. He has a floater game and rebounds well with his bounce and size despite his leaner frame. He also impressed with multiple alley-oop dunks.

[player_tooltip player_id='2960995' first='Mohamed' last='Massamba Ndao'] Bella Vista Prep EYBL

A long point forward type who can defend and score. He will score with downhill takes and he can hit the three off the catch. He is a strong defender from inside and out and holds his ground well in the paint to defend and is fluid in space to cover guards.

[player_tooltip player_id='2564039' first='Aliou' last='Dioum'] Bella Vista Prep EYBL

The West Virginia commit is a top of the food chain shot blocker. He has elite size, athleticism, length and fluidity. He can defend in the paint plus switch onto a guard. He will score it from the perimeter, rim run and rip thru with either hand.

[player_tooltip player_id='2622811' first='Kaleb' last='DeHaan'] Phhoenix Prep

A newcomer for me is a strong framed wing forward who can shoot the ball from the three point line. He will rattle them off one by one and gets hot quickly. He can get in the paint and ball fake and score with reverse layups. He uses his size and frame to rebound and moves decently in space.

[player_tooltip player_id='1570934' first='Diego' last='Sarabia'] AZ Compass Prep Grind

A versatile power forward can score it and make plays. He will score with rip thrus getting downhill, mid-range J's, catch threes, cuts off the ball for layups and he is a good passer out of the double or off a live dribble. He will dribble drive and then find a teammate.

[player_tooltip player_id='1150822' first='Cameron' last='Holmes'] Millennium

Holmes got back from his Oklahoma visit and he shined with 25+ points. He is a good rebounder in traffic and always is unselfish to make the read to a teammate. He will hit the three and he is a quick second jumper to score on tip-ins or put backs with and-1's and catch the lob dunk. He is very calm and patient.

[player_tooltip player_id='1359138' first='James' last='Turner'] AZ Compass Prep EYBL

A good sized power forward will defend a few positions from the wing to the post with his size, length and fluidity. He will score it in the paint with post moves plus hit the three off the catch and finish it off with alley-oop dunks. He has been a great addition to the EYBL team.
