Another league win for CIA Bella Vista, Karvala was back in the midwest playing in front of a handful of his college fans as the Hoosier faithful showed out for him. Karvala can shoot over smaller defenders. An elite shooter who you have to track in transition, Karvala walked into a trail 3-pointer that I think everybody in the gym knew was money when it left his hands. I also liked when Karvala hit a big in the pick and roll, showing some quick decision making as a secondary ball handler. Karvala’s positional size and perimeter shooting ability will be a weapon for Coach DeVries in Bloomington next season.

The 2026 prospect led his team to a 9-5 record in conference which helped Oregon to a third place finish. The uber athletic wing led the conference in scoring with 26 points per game. His season high 44 came in a win over McFarland. Karvala recorded 30 or more points on 8 occasions, and recorded 10 or more rebounds 11 times. His current offers are from Marquette, Wisconsin and others.

Karvala started off slowly for Oregon as he missed seven of his first eight shots. But after that, the 6-foot-7 wing prospect was stellar. He made 10 of his final 12 shots, went three-of-five from three-point range, and made 10 of 11 foul shots en route to netting 35 points. He also grabbed 14 rebounds, had five blocked shots, distributed four assists and came up with three steals. There is no denying the talent Karvala brings to the game as he can pass, shoot and dribble, and is a very difficult player to guard as exemplified by his 11 free throw attempts. Toss in his verticality, which is something to behold, and you can see why Karvala is the state’s No,. 1-ranked junior in the Prep Hoops Wisconsin Player Rankings.

At times, it almost appears as though Karvala is playing nerf basketball in his living room on a seven-foot hoop with the way he can attack the rim. He’s able to finish above the rim at any given moment and, it seems, from almost every spot on the floor. He had a putback, one-handed dunk off his own miss. He drove the lane and finished with a two-handed dunk on a couple of occasions. And, he also went above the rim to grab a carom with both hands and flush it through the hoop. He also showed the ability to run a team from the perimeter and knock down three-point shots. Karvala’s verticality is unmatched in the state and his ability to make “wow” plays appears almost endless. Get out and watch Karvala play at some point this season. You won’t come away disappointed.
