Expert Analysis

Devin Ugland

Prep Hoops Lead Scout

Cuyler showed that he has a little bit of everything in his offensive arsenal and the next-level size, athleticism and feel to play either on or off the ball. The 6-foot-4 wing was best when slashing and finishing around the rim in transition and half-court offense as his crafty ball handling, shiftiness of his movements and quick vertical athleticism allowed him to get to the rim and finish with ease. The East Coast-native, now in Arizona at Bella Vista Prep, averaged 23.3 points and 8.3 rebounds per game during the camp games and added 18 points, five steals and four assists in the Top 30 game.

Semaj is a big combo guard with a Nice handle and a quick first step that allows him to get the rim. He is a strong finisher that will use his inside hand to sneak the ball up in front of defenders. He is a plus athlete that plays above the rim. Semaj Has a great bump and gather and plays strong off two. He fly’s down the lanes in the open court and is a lob threat and isn’t afraid to throw it down. He can also hit the three at a solid clip but doesn’t settle.
