AOG’s Cactus Classic Battle of the Brands All-Tourney Second Team

From Saturday April 25th to Sunday April 26th i was able to attend the AOG's Cactus Classic Battle of the Brands in Phoenix Arizona at The PHHacility.   I was able to view 6+ games a day and over 10 Teams through the 2 days. I seen the talent pool from 17U-15U from multiple different shoe circuits. Players mentioned are only from the teams I viewed and assessed from the 1to 3 times I seen them play.   I Put the players in 6 top teams of 6 players each.   Second Team    Innocent is a big ball handler that has a knack for scoring. He likes to score out of the pick and role by hitting the three or taking a couple extra dribbles to the midrange. He likes to get the the midrange post area and takes advantage of smaller guards. Innocent gets down hill with his nice handle and uses his strength to carry defenders to the rim. His game is very smooth and will dominate the 15u level.     Semaj is a big combo guard with a Nice handle and a quick first step that allows him to get the rim. He is a strong finisher that will use his inside hand to sneak the ball up in front of defenders. He is a plus athlete that plays above the rim. Semaj Has a great bump and gather and plays strong off two. He fly's down the lanes in the open court and is a lob threat and isn't afraid to throw it down. He can also hit the three at a solid clip but doesn't settle.     Cameron is a complete point guard with a calm and smooth game. He is a elite passer and will finds shooters on the outside he also has great vision in the lane and will dish out dump passes to bigs. He will push the pace with his elite handle and speed. Cameron will hit the three of a pull up with extended range pass the NBA three point line he even hit 27 footer of the catch. Any space he is given he will take advantage of and score. He has great footwork in the lane and will slow down his steps to throw off defenders.     Douglas is a Fast point guard with a great handle. He runs the offense effectively and efficiently and will set up others. He can also score from the point position and really get going. He likes to score most of his points in the midrange area with quick pullups or floaters. Doug took on the matchup against a top 10 player in Arizona and his high school teammate. He absolutely showed out and displayed his clutch ability and took over in the end of the game vs a superior EYBL team and ended up getting the win.     Kristian is a lengthy high skilled wing with major upside. His offensive game is very fundamentally sound and has a smooth jumper with great shot mechanics. He caught fire from three when i saw him and he hit them off pull up's and catch and shoot three's. He would pick for other ball handlers and pop out for open shots. He showcased his skill with midrange post up's and took advantage of smaller guard. He is an overall high IQ player that uses pump fakes and footwork to help him score.     Jerrance is a strong built high IQ point guard with a natural feel for the game. He gets down hill bumping off defenders to get into the lane to hit nice floater's or looks to give kick outs. He sends the ball up the sideline fast and will give his wings opportunity to create on the break. He hits the three at a high clip of the catch. He has a nice balance of scoring and playmaking and reads the defense at a high level always making the right plays. He is a strong one on one defender and will often defended the other teams lead guard.
