On Saturday April 12th I attended the Nothing but Net Spring Showcase at Sunnyslope HS hosted by Dinos Trigonis. It was a unique event with club and prep teams playing each other making it a rare live period for college coaches to come view the talent.

I spent all day watching the teams on the main court plus one half in the auxiliary gym. These are not prospect rankings. Just how did they do for the 1-2 games I viewed them.

A versatile wing forward is that Swiss Army Knife who can play and defend multiple positions. He will hit the three off the catch and smartly plays off of two-feet and will find a teammate in stride. He is a very good rebounder and a natural connector at nearly six-foot six.

A quick on quick scoring point guard who has advanced court vision, a tighter handle and real speed with the ball to get to his spots. He will score with mid-range pull-ups, threes off the catch, speed dribble drives, ball fakes and he is very patient and crafty to score.

A potential top-10 2030 in AZ is a bigger combo guard who handles it well, makes plays and scores. He is a freak athlete who had some rim rattling dunks and a very good on-ball defender with his size and strength. He is also a top notch rebounder and will score it with threes off the catch.

A long face-up power forward is a southpaw who can stretch the floor with threes off the catch with an easy stroke and quicker trigger. He is one of those who looks better on every viewing. He rebounds well, runs the floor, will block shots and score it in transition.

[player_tooltip player_id='3226220' first='Linus' last='Turner'] Sunnyslope (Compton Magic 15)

A bigger guard/wing type who has some vertical pop, skill and a nice frame. He has a pretty looking shooting stroke from the three point line and will pour in triples ones by one. He can get a step on his defender and get to the basket to score or get to the free throw line.
