2027 Rankings Updated Newcomers Top 150

PH NorCal rankings were updated for the class of 2027. This group can have instant impact on their teams going into the season, and play their way up the rankings. Some will be starters, other will get significant playing time off the bench. We got a glimpse of this group in the Spring, and Summer playing club or with their high school teams at Section 7, and Cali-Live. There's some in here that can rise during high school basketball season.    Didn't play last season after transferring from Modesto Christian. He played well at Section 7. At 6'4 he was a contributor, played good off two feet in the paint, using patience, pump fakes and other ways to get his shot, has the body to handle contact. He can drive the baseline, hit short jump shots, he'll take open 3's. Helps rebound, moves the ball, good effort defending his position.     He's strong and muscular player who hits the boards on both ends of the court. He'll score most of his points taking it up strong in traffic. He has a 1-2 dribble attack from the baseline, might dunk it. He's a good court runner, works hard to defend his position in the paint. He's a bit raw but plays hard. Good defender, and rebounder at the 16u level.     A good all around prospect who'll give good effort on defense. He's a tough with foot speed boxes out bigger players. He can apply ball pressure to guards, stick close to shooters, he's hard to get around. He shows speed pushing with ball up court, or hustling to get out in transition. He's a slasher/cutter, can score in traffic. He'll be a contributor.     He looks like a solid body combo guard who can run the team up top. A quality ball handler, makes strong passes up, and around the perimeter, has the vision to spot cutters going to the basket. He has strength, and balance to get into the paint, he can handle contact, and finish. He has a mid-range jumper, foot speed, and strength to be a good defender.     He's a combo guard with lengthy arms, and footspeed to defend in full court, and out on the perimeter. His best days are ahead, right now he's doing a little bit of everything. He's got good hops to get get lobs, and help rebound at 6'2. He plays mostly off ball right now, but shows he can get to the basket using his dribble, and speed.     Hanson will make his mark as a player who can get hot knocking down 3-pointers. Our first look saw him drop 3 or 4 three point shots in the first half of a game before cooling off. We won't label him a shooter just yet, because he is in the process of adding pieces to his overall. He's an improving ball handler, and passer, he runs the court hard, gives good effort defending his position and helping out weakside.
