2027 Rankings: New Guards Additions

He plays with pace, executes straight line drives or Steve Nash baseline tight rope drives with the set purpose of shifting the defense to free up a teammate for an easy bucket. Rhinehart is an extremely unselfish passer in the halfcourt but can also serve as an effective connector off the ball from the wings. He has some wiggle on the ball thanks to an unconventional dribbling style/pace that can make it difficult for his matchup to time steals or cut off his path to the rim. Loved the all-around impact of his performance playing against a good WCAC team last month in Bowie for a preseason warmup event. He attacks the glass at both ends of the floor, can guard multiple positions, and moves well off the ball. Rhodney hit the glass to snag some offensive rebounds to give his team extra possessions. He moved well off the ball, finding ways to score himself in the paint while serving as a mobile connector to hit teammates with a touch pass on the move. He also hit a 3 and guarded his yard quite well throughout the afternoon, showing quick hands and defensive IQ on the timing of his defensive digs down on the post. Wright is an explosive athlete, plays passing lanes well, will take on any defensive matchup given to him, and is always moving off the ball.
