The NCAA Division II recruit for Minnesota - Duluth was outstanding at the Be Premier League. He swished three-point shots with ease, made the right passes at the right time and dominated on the glass with his physical strength and verticality. Hibner had 37 points and eight three-point baskets while helping his team to a four-point victory. Moreover, he showed the type of big-play ability and leadership that will be required of him as a senior at Stoughton this winter. Ranked No. 19 among seniors in the state, Hibner has advanced his game at a steady pace in each of his four years in high school.

Few, if any, players in the 2027 class elevated their stock with collegiate coaches more of the spring and summer than Stremlow. After missing all but a handful of games during the 2024-25 high school season due to an injury, Stremlow used the club season to announce his status as one of the better all-around players in a loaded junior class. Stremlow understands the game at a high level, finishes through contact with his strength and understands how to get past defenders by attacking defensive angles. He is a good passer, an improved shooter and a guy who has picked up recent scholarship offers from NCAA Division II schools. He figures to have a huge season for a young Verona squad this winter.

One of the more pleasant surprises at the Be Premier League, Jimenez flashed impressive scoring ability, both off the dribble and from the perimeter. The lanky and bouncy wing player 25 points in a narrow loss and hit three triples in the contest. His activity on the defensive end of the floor was equally impressive as he utilized his mobility and quickness to get into passing lanes and grab rebounds. Jimenez and stellar senior forward [player_tooltip player_id='2025184' first='Wes' last='Rahn'] (6-8), along others, will be a key players for a Lakeside Lutheran squad looking to unseat Lake Mills as champions of the Capitol North Conference.

As competitive as they come in the backcourt, Vale has a tendency to make big plays for his team. He took on the challenge of guarding his high school teammate, [player_tooltip player_id='1561944' first='Jacob' last='Hibner'], at the Be Premier League and went toe-to-toe with a bigger, strong player, thanks to his impressive mental toughness. Offensively, Vale was a bit hit-and-miss with his long ball, but he ended up scoring at a high level due to his quickness and aggressiveness off the dribble. Vale and Hibner give Stoughton coach Nolan Weber one of the better duos in the always competitive Badger Conference.

Do yourself a favor and go and watch Hereford during his senior season at Beloit Memorial. He is worth the price of admission with his unique ability to finish off plays with his stellar footwork and deft use of the backboard. He is fearless going to the basket, and he finishes over and around bigger defenders more often than any other player in the state. Hereford owns a couple of NCAA Division I scholarship offers and will be taking some visits this fall. The school that ends up with Hereford, a tremendous leader and teammate, will be getting a steal.

The younger brother of Monona Grove junior [player_tooltip player_id='2140876' first='Austin' last='Luchetti'], [player_tooltip player_id='2423093' first='Evan' last='Luchetti'] showed himself as a stellar player in his own right on Wednesday in Stoughton. He drilled one three-point basket after another while also guarding well and hitting the glass on both ends. Monona Grove has a very deep and talented roster so getting big minutes at the varsity level this winter might be difficult, but Luchetti is proving to be an outstanding player who could make big plays this winter.

Another surprise performer at the Be Premier League, Christianson had a huge game for his squad in a narrow victory. He scored 23 points, drilled three three-point shots and had a monster punch-dunk for his team. In addition, his hustle and grit on the backboards was impressive as he hauled down several rebounds. Christianson could be a key player for a McFarland squad expected to contend for the Badger Small Conference title behind the return of talented juniors [player_tooltip player_id='2140913' first='Eli' last='Krueger'] (6-9) and Garrett Crull (6-4).

A hustle player who played along the baseline and out on the perimeter, Goudeau was a consistent rebounder, smart passer and stellar teammate at the Be Premier League. He made the extra pass, set screens and made some huge baskets, including a huge three-point basket late that helped his team to a close win. Goudeau finished the game with 16 points and two made triples while also making a fistful of hustle plays that led to positive results for the team.

This guy just never stops. He keeps running, and hustling, and contesting, and filling the lane, and making shots. His energizer-bunny-like determination on the basketball court is impressive. It played a big role in helping him score 15 of his 17 points in the second half to help his rally before coming up just short. Paukner's consistent effort will earn him playing time with a very good, young team at Sauk Prairie as well as with the [program_tooltip program_id='2078835' first='Wisconsin' last='Swing'] over the next few seasons.

A skilled player from the 2028 class, Costello can play either guard position and does so with confidence and a high skill level. He handles and passes the ball very well, but his best attribute might just be his long-distance shooting. Costello is deadly from beyond the arc and proved it Wednesday by knocking down several triples for his team. Costello saw plenty of varsity playing time as a freshman and will be a key player for a very good Madison La Follette squad in 2025-26.
