The Expo: Steve’s Top Performers

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We had approximately 65 Sophomores through Seniors in the gym at MidAmerica East on Sunday afternoon, including several of the top Sophomores in the state. Here's a breakdown of my top performers for the day. Keep in mind that I did not see every prospect play so there will probably be some names left off the list who played well. Lindsay's consistency is impressive. He could coast through camps if he wanted to or not even show up but he's always there. He always competes and he's always impressive. On Sunday he was trying to push the pace for his team from the beginning. He's playing comfortably above the rim and had several big dunks on Sunday. I'm not sure I ever saw him shoot a jump shot during the day because he didn't really have to. He was tireless in his effort on both ends and also showed no backdown when guarding players much bigger than him. Mitchell is a bigger guard who made some great passes in 5 on 5 action along with drilling multiple corner threes. Early in the afternoon, Strite was very active on the offensive glass and finished several possessions with a putback score. Overall, I'd like to see Jackson continue developing his midrange game and put the ball on the floor more but he is a true inside-out threat with his size and ability. He and [player_tooltip player_id='2851845' first='Mason' last='Grivna'] should be a nightmare to guard at Ballard this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
