Coet is a player known for his perimeter shooting but made it a point to get out to the showcase and show an expanded game that caught me by surprise. He showed composure as a primary ball handler, manipulated defenses, and attacked off the dribble for some easy finishes as well as kick-outs. He finished around the rim, scored easily, and also made sure defenses had to figure out if they wanted to stop the shot or drive. Seth looked to be in control, and that's what separates the top players in these settings. Things seem to slow down a bit for the top players, and that was the case for him. He impressed by showing he can contribute beyond just being a shooter, making him one of the top guards on the day.

Edlund's hustle and energy stood out in a showcase setting. He rebounded hard, switched onto bigger defenders, and constantly made high-effort plays. In a showcase environment filled with scorers, Edlund separated himself by doing the little things. I saw him making extra passes, defending, and competing with intensity. His willingness to embrace a role and provide toughness made him a valuable piece to the showcase, and those are the kinds of players that coaches put in high-pressure situations. Solid day of providing difference.

Simpson brought playmaking instincts and awareness, and that shined brightest in the 3 on 3 portion of the day. He picked off passes, turned defense into transition points, and facilitated as a catalyst offensively. His IQ allowed him to impact the game without forcing the issue like so many other prospects there. Simpson looks to be a steady two-way guard as he made smart reads and played with energy, which made him one of the more dependable players to watch.

Pino was a breakout star that we did not know too much about heading into the event. He dominated in 3-on-3, then carried it into 5-on-5, scoring at will. He handled the ball with confidence, broke down defenders, and finished at the rim as one of the top scorers on the day. Pino appears to be electric as a creator as a score-first guard. Pino looked like one of the surprise standouts of the showcase and a guard whose stock should rise quickly. Excited to follow him this year to see if it continues.

Proctor once again proved he's different. There's not a player in the state who moves how Proctor moves with the ball in his hands. His burst and ability to create off the dribble made him unstoppable in one-on-one situations, and he hunts mismatches, which is rare in young guards. He finished consistently, read the floor well, and added defensive intensity by trying to shut down his matchup. Proctor is already a name that we have seen have big games this summer, but while talking to coaches and others who have followed, his growth over the past year is evident. He was one of the best players at the event.
