Here are the seniors that really caught my eye on Sunday that I think are going to have big senior seasons and have college coaches look closely at them.

[player_tooltip player_id='2381223' first='Judah' last='Caine'] of Columbia Heights (6'4). [player_tooltip player_id='2381223' first='Judah' last='Caine'] scored 8.4 points per game last winter as a 6'2 guard for Heights. A nice junior season but not something that really grabbed a ton of attention. Caine had a good 17u season with Power Circle showing explosive finishes that really caught some attention. He's also grown an inch or two and was certainly one of the stronger senior guards at the event with the wide shoulders combined with that athletic ability. The perimeter jump shot looks clean, Caine has the strength a college would be looking for, and he is an athletic finisher. Caine is on my short list of players that could really make a huge prospect and player jump this winter. Judah was excellent at the Expo.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560784' first='Woeser' last='Jenpa'] of Prior Lake (6'4). As the 17u season went on, the 6'4 guard skills of Woser really started to expand, as did the consistency of results. At that point we started to think.... can it be? As the summer kept moving and Jenpa's ability to move the ball, take the right shot, and score on a number of different looks expanded. And you keep thinking, he played JV last year while his brother Norbu had an outstanding senior season. Can Woeser have a similar senior year rise? Based on the way he led his team yesterday as one of the best players, I would say yes. A guard prospect with good size, Jenpa is surely a quality D3 prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='2465512' first='Duke' last='King'] of Tartan (6'5). It was refreshing to watch Duke yesterday. He looks taller, he looks much stronger as his weight looks up in a very good way, and King's length is wild. King is a lefty and he was scoring on attacks from every angle, with or without contesting arms in the way. King has always been a player I have been high on but yesterday Duke looked like a matured talent that is ready for a huge senior season and a college basketball future. I don't want to predict a college level yet because this physical maturity from King - who scored 16 points a game last year - paired with the coaching at Tartan next year could lead to a lot of opportunity. King looked like he physically matured (in height, strength and length) about three years in five months.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560869' first='Banyaan' last='Omot'] of Austin (6'5). Omot's explosive finishing wasn't something maybe one or two other kids at this event could match. The length and bounce he has, you are forced to wonder if Banyaan could dunk on an eleven foot hoop. He has gifts of agility, bounce, length and height in a combo that few have. If he can find a way to be a consistent player this winter at Austin, Omot has a very real chance at a college future at a good level. We saw all the physical gifts and Banyaan produced this weekend. Now we need to see it this winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560747' first='Alex' last='Schroepfer'] of Eagan (6'5). At this point I don't have much more to say about Alex except one thing, people ask about the consistency of his perimeter jumper and I say, he makes a solid percentage when I see him play. But then I move to.... If Alex is out here making four or five threes every ten tries in a game or two, he isn't just a D2 kid, his size, smarts and all around skill level would be combined with a shooter that is playing division one basketball. So that begs the question, should he be choosing among a number of D2 options in the NSIC? I surely think so. As for yesterday, Alex was a constant producer that no forward could defend.

[player_tooltip player_id='2120490' first='Brett' last='Siroin'] of St. Anthony (6'4). Brett looks like an edge rusher prospect headed to a football school in scholarship in size, strength and agility. He finished at the rim throughout the day but I liked the way he scored on the move to the hoop in balanced ways, and his mid-range touch looks outstanding. Brett is going to score a ton and I think we are looking at a winter commit to a D2 in some partial way, or an NAIA commit, or a top D3 commit if he is looking for that type of degree. Brett can score and he is going to score a ton this winter.
