I'm not sure anybody shot the ball as well as Kloock did on Saturday morning as he was stretching the floor by hitting shots on either wing from a few feet behind the line. The confidence he showed as a shooter really stood out to me and Kloock could be a sleeper prospect who starts gaining momentum this winter for Olentangy.

High school and fall league teammate of Kloock, Attia was efficient as a paint scorer despite his size. Playing under control as a driver, Attia had a couple scoop, step through and jump stop layups. When Attia's defender when under a screen he confidently pulled up and made the defense pay. Always enjoy seeing one of the smallest players in the gym make a positive impact for his team.

On a team full of 2028 prospects who are playing up in the 11th/12th grade Division, Carpenter physically stands out against the older competition due to his length, height and shoulder width. Physically one of the more impressive kids I saw all day, Carpenter actually made an impact as a passer before being a scorer or rebounders. Carpenter has the positional size to see over shorter defenders and uses different angles to get the ball where it needs to go. Carpenter then looked to score when he caught the ball in the paint including a third chance bucket that was all thanks to his effort levels. Name to watch in central Ohio as a prospect who should continue to improve.

I was a fan of Yeary at the Sophomore ID Camp and he had a big second half run in his teams first of two wins on the morning with eight straight points. Yeary scored in transition, off drives and hit a couple mid range jumpers as well. A high IQ player who moves well without the basketball, Yeary's entire team plays an unselfish brand of basketball that's fun to watch early in the morning.

Saxton was getting busy with a run in his first game of the day where he had a nasty lefty running layup and an acrobatic finish where he hung in the air past a shot contest. A true example of heart over height, Saxton is one of the most impactful players on basically any court he steps on and Saturday morning was no different.

From last season to this season I've noticed a clear difference in Alexander as an athlete. Growing a couple inches and filling out his frame physically, Alexander is starting to grow into his body and looks like an even better athlete than he was as a freshman. Defensively, Alexander was flying around the court with numerous steals that led to layups in transition. My favorite layup finish was the pinoy step that allowed him to score a tough right-handed finish through traffic. One of the most productive 2028 prospects from southeast Ohio, Alexander is a name basketball junkies from other parts of the state will learn as he continues in his high school career.
