Winning the MVP award after leading team ‘Concord’ to the championship, Carpenter was dynamic at both ends of the court. Able to create extra possessions for his team, score on the interior and turn the opposition over, Carpenter made a big impact for a full 10th grade team that won the 11th and 12th grade division.

On a team full of 2028 prospects who are playing up in the 11th/12th grade Division, Carpenter physically stands out against the older competition due to his length, height and shoulder width. Physically one of the more impressive kids I saw all day, Carpenter actually made an impact as a passer before being a scorer or rebounders. Carpenter has the positional size to see over shorter defenders and uses different angles to get the ball where it needs to go. Carpenter then looked to score when he caught the ball in the paint including a third chance bucket that was all thanks to his effort levels. Name to watch in central Ohio as a prospect who should continue to improve.
