The CBG Fall Team Camp took place at the Henrico Sports and Event Center this past weekend, with two days of action featuring some top tier teams from Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina. With four courts of action and over 30 teams in attendance, there were a number of players who made an impression on the coaches and scouts in attendance. Here's a look at part two of some of the top 2026 performers in the event.

Valencia was one of the biggest stock risers in the state throughout the summer, and he showed why at the team camp with some very impressive performances for an Evergreen team that played a gauntlet of a schedule on both days. The 6'6” wing is as versatile as they come, as he's stuff the stat sheet and impact the game in so many different ways on both ends while playing and guarding multiple positions. He's highly skilled for his size with the ability to deck it and make shots off the catch, he plays with great pace and has a good IQ as a playmaker, he can post up smaller defenders and score in the paint and in the midrange, and he is always in the right place defensively with the ability to switch and challenge shots at the rim.

Elijah Williams | 6'4” WG | Evergreen Christian

Williams had a host of schools keeping up with him throughout the event, as he showed a mix of grit, athleticism and production that was very impressive against the level of competition that they played. The 6'4” wing played with great energy throughout the event, showing a high motor and aggressive style of play on both ends of the floor, and he wasn't afraid to let his opponents know about it when he was cooking. He got downhill and threw down some super impressive dunks above the rim, he got to spots off the bounce and made tough shots in the midrange, and he showed a lot of fight on the defensive end and getting on the glass as well.

Forbrich was a favorite of a lot of people who were in attendance, as he may not look like a killer when he steps on the floor, but he was consistently filling it up and showing a ton of toughness while doing it. He made several trips to the trainer with a bloody nose or scratches from hitting the floor or sticking his nose in on drives from bigger defenders, and once he was patched up he wasted no time getting back out there and making an impact on the game. He shot the ball very well from deep both off the catch and off the bounce, he showed good shift and got in the lane to make plays for himself and others, and his toughness and energy set the tone for his team as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1782692' first='Ripp' last='Kodi'] | 6'6” WF | Highland School

Kodi is a major part of a new look Highland team that showed they'll still be a contender to defend their VISAA D-I state championship and Elite Prep League regular season championship, and he's a guy I expect will see his recruitment pick up quite a bit playing the schedule they play. At 6'6” Kodi has prototypical positional size with long arms and is a good athlete both laterally and vertically, and he's shown a lot of improvement over the past few years in his skillset. He shot the ball well from deep off the catch and hit tough shots in the midrange, he showed his ability to handle in transition and work out of the triple threat in isolation, and his defensive potential as he continues to fill out is very high moving forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='2347779' first='Nick' last='Byrd'] | 5'11” PG | S3 Academy

Byrd has been one of the most consistent guards in the Richmond area leading Hopewell to multiple deep state tournament runs over the past three seasons, and now that he's running the show for a talented S3 team he was one of the more impressive guards in the entire event. When you think of a throwback floor general, Byrd fits that mold perfectly as he is able to control the game with his pace, IQ and skillset as both a scorer and a playmaker. He handled pressure as well as anyone could beating presses and staying out of traps, he delivered passes on point to cutters and shooters, he shot the ball well from deep and got to the rim where he finished or drew contact, and he set the tone defensively with his ball pressure as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2459212' first='Jamese' last='Jordan'] | 6'9” C | S3 Academy

Jordan has been a player we have watched developed since he was a freshman, and there's no doubt he's come a long way and is one of the most under recruited players in the class in the state. He's a massive force in the paint standing 6'9” with a huge and strong frame, to go along with surprisingly quick and explosive athletic features that make him a force to deal with around the rim. He showed good relocation ability and soft hands to catch passes and then quick and explosive vertical athleticism to throw it down with authority, he clogged the paint and challenged shots and showed he wasn't afraid to put someone on their behind when they came down the lane, and he attacked the glass hard rebounding well in traffic too.

Steph Cherry | 6'4” WF | S3 Academy

Cherry is another underrated and under recruited prospect for this talented S3 squad that college coaches should definitely check out, and he was highly productive throughout the event for them. The 6'4” forward showed much more aggression than we've seen in the past, attacking in isolation and in transition and getting to the rim where he finished well through traffic and got to the line quite a bit. He was a good secondary ball handler and playmaker when he was on the ball, he moved well off the ball and knocked down shots from deep, and he showed the ability to move his feet and challenge shots on the defensive end too.

[player_tooltip player_id='1963550' first='Ryan' last='Corallo'] | 6'3” WG | CG Woodson

Woodson has a new look after coming off a state championship last season, and with Corallo as their top returner he showed he was ready to step into the go-to scoring role and put up big numbers in both of their games,. The 6'3” wing is a super skilled scorer who can play both on and off the ball, and showed he's capable of filling it up from all three levels and the charity stripe as well. He knocked down shots from deep off the catch, he got to spots in the midrange and hit tough shots, he put pressure on the defense getting downhill, he pushed the ball in transition, and he was good within their concepts on both ends of the floor too.
