UCAAG North (Green) Class of 2029 Team Report

The sixth and final report on the Underclassmen All American Game Hoops For Diabetes, organized by Horace Neysmith, highlights the event as a key summer attraction and one of the must-see events. The North team featured a couple of prospects in the Class of 2029 that have the potential to be Top players in the nation.    Draydne McDaniel, 6-8, 180, WF, Calvary Christian / Dania Beach, FL. - Draydne demonstrates an excellent tempo and showcases a fluid playing style. The left-handed forward effectively maneuvers around defenders, reaching the basket with minimal resistance, while also creating scoring opportunities off the dribble and excelling as a catch-and-shoot threat. He displays strong court vision and consistently involves his teammates, adapting to the flow of the game. As a versatile three-level scorer at the wing-forward position, Draydne is likely to become increasingly recognized in collegiate basketball over the next three years. Although he scored seven points in this game, his influence extended well beyond the scoreboard, contributing significantly to areas that do not appear on the stat sheet. He brings a wealth of intangible assets to his team's performance.     Powerful athletic finisher. Had 6 dunks in the game. Plays the game above the rim. Runs the floor with energy and has excellent touch around the rim. Plays with a competitive edge and can stroke the 3 when needed… With his physicality and strength, he is easily able to operate around the post and finish strong at the rim, as well as defend strongly on the other end. But he continues to add more to his game...One college coach should have on boards in the future. Scored 18 points to pick up the CO-MVP of the game.     Smooth lead guard with size. Solid ballhandler can create space to get his shot off. Handle the ball well against small guard's ball pressure. Impress with his ability to get downhill and create constant pressure at the rim. Has good touch with either hand around the basket. Austin really played with a good motor on the offensive glass.  Has solid shooting form, looks good shooting off the dribble Has a nice one-dribble pullup game. Should be able to develop his 3pt range in time. Flashed the ability to be a lob threat Will get into the ball defensively and make some plays with his length. Austin pumped in 14 points in the game showing he can impact the game.       A versatile and athletic wing player who demonstrates strong leaping ability and consistently finishes above the rim. He possesses a quick first step that enables him to drive past defenders efficiently. As a capable ball handler, he also exhibits confidence when shooting from beyond the arc, as reflected in his 12-point performance. Cadien acceleration off the dribble and proficiency with the pull-up jumper allow him to attack the basket effectively and create passing opportunities, while his control and pace enable him to remain composed in various game situations.     Jeremiah Triplin is a name that has already earned some strong recognition, but we believe that it will only continue with what we saw at the event. Back healthy and stronger, Triplin continues to show his full arsenal down low and what kind of force he could be on the court. He seals in the paint well, getting his defender behind him and understanding how to bully his way around the paint. Triplin has strong hands, is active on the boards, has nice touch around the basket, and can really bring a strong presence in the paint.     A skilled and agile combo guard demonstrates strong basketball acumen and has the potential to gain national recognition among rising freshmen. As a versatile defender, he can drive past opponents and finish at the rim. He contributed 14 points in the game, indicating promising potential for future development.
