After a productive freshman season, Cadien looks ready to take the next jump in Year 2. He has star written all over him. Hudson has great size and smooth athleticism. He finds buckets from all levels. When he decides to put his head down and get to the rim, there is nothing defenders can do to slow him down. With his length, Hudson is able to shoot over contests from the perimeter. Defensively, Cadien has the physical tools to become a game-wrecking presence with his ability to get deflections at the top of the zone. Power 5 programs are jumping all in on Hudson.

. The rangy, 6’6″ wing has all of the potential in the world, not just because of his length, but because of the signs he’s shown as a shooter. Hudson had 5 3PM between the two games I watched on Saturday, displaying a smooth stroke with an uncontestable release point. However, where he was most productive was in the mid-range. Cadien consistently knocked down twos off closeouts, through contact, and in traffic. Hudson also has plenty of defensive upside, so it will be fun to track his development over the next three years.

One of the county’s top freshmen, Hudson brings a unique blend of size, skill, athleticism, and natural scoring ability that immediately stands out. He finished with 15 points, repeatedly getting to the rim with confidence and showing little hesitation attacking defenders off the bounce. His length and body control allow him to finish through traffic, and he plays with a maturity beyond his years. Beyond his scoring, Hudson has shown the ability to serve as a distributor, keeping his head up and finding open teammates when defenses collapse. With his physical tools and developing feel for the game, he projects as a high-upside prospect in his class.

A versatile and athletic wing player who demonstrates strong leaping ability and consistently finishes above the rim. He possesses a quick first step that enables him to drive past defenders efficiently. As a capable ball handler, he also exhibits confidence when shooting from beyond the arc, as reflected in his 12-point performance. Cadien acceleration off the dribble and proficiency with the pull-up jumper allow him to attack the basket effectively and create passing opportunities, while his control and pace enable him to remain composed in various game situations.
