There were only a couple of 2029 prospects invited to the minicamp and Gaskins was clearly the most productive one of the group. Physically dominant compared to his 2029 peers, Gaskins had numerous plays where his physicality was on display with strong interior finishes and offensive rebounds. Gaskins older brother is a top 20 prospect in the 2026 class and Cayden has the potential to be at the top of the 2029 class when it’s all said and done.

This kid is a monster in the making. Quickness, leaping ability and skills. Gaskins is among the top 2029 kids in the country and he plays with poise and that is what stands out among everything else he can do. He could end up 6’9+ which makes him an NBA type prospect with what he is showing as an 8th grader playing up.
