[player_tooltip player_id='2532096' first='Jay' last='Dantzler'] was one of the best scorers at the ID Camp and just overall showed that he is one of the elite players in his class. He has a solid basketball frame with a lower body that is built to change directions on offense and defense. Nobody in the gym could stop him offensively and he did it in every basketball way. He is a player that you just stop counting his points and watch his other skills. He is a willing facilitator, and he delivers on point passes with precision. He is a gamer and an easy choice for our First Team Sophomore ID Camp Team.

[player_tooltip player_id='2532085' first='Chase' last='Knight'] spent the ID Camp showing his versatile game and smooth skill. In his first game, he missed some shots, but his resilience and persistence paid off because he seemed get better on every possession. That is a sign of basketball intelligence. Knight is long with a skillful handle that he uses minimally, but efficiently to shift the defense and get to his spots. I want to just call him a shooter, but he can get to the rim and finish with either hand through contact. Knight embraces the physical part of the game and that makes him dangerous. Knight has a developing college frame and the strength to handle Varsity play. Long story short. Check out Knight. He checks all the boxes for our First Team Sophomore Camp.

Edner Aranda is a player that most coaches and scouts have not seen in person, but he was a standout from the moment the competition started. He is a bouncy and energetic HOOPER. He is strong, smart and skilled. He is a top player in his class for a reason, and any doubters were quickly made believers. He is a natural basketball talent that has a high motor and a knack for basketball things really well. On top of all that he does it with confidence that you don't see in a lot of players. Aranda is elite and talented, and as he gets more exposure there will be more conversation about his abilities. He was definitely one of the surprises of the showcase to coaches and scouts.

[player_tooltip player_id='2623530' first='Nick' last='Shelton'] is probably not a name that is known around the state for his production. He is a role player for Calvary, but that is the cost of steady development. Learning from older players and putting in timeless hours to develop. In a gym of his peers, he was clearly one of the most skilled players. I am not even sure what he does best right now. The impressive part of his game is in the simple efficiency of his production. He does not make moves; he makes reads and then reacts. Shelton has a banker's demeanor. He lets his game do the talking, and at the showcase he was CASH all day. In one game, he just kept scoring, and I stopped counting. Consensus First Team Player.

[player_tooltip player_id='2906290' first='Aguar' last='Maper'] was one of the most interesting players in the gym because of his obvious size and athleticism. He is a developing talent offensively, but he was able to demonstrate the things that he does well right now at a high level. He can run the floor, block shots, rebound and finish. What was impressive was his ability to step out and knock down some three pointers which is a skill that will intrigue coaches at the next level. Whenever he is on the court, he is a mismatch on the offensive side of the ball and an intimidator on defense. Maper is a game changer that can make a good team a great team with his skills. His talent and performance make a clear choice for the First Team.

[player_tooltip player_id='2194600' first='Christian' last='Clair'] was the most well-rounded player in the gym. There was nothing that he could not do during the showcase. First thing that stands out about Clair is his understanding of pace. It looks like he is playing slow, but that is his way of controlling possessions. He is an elite three-point shooter. He is an elite mid-range shooter. He is an elite finisher at the rim. He is an elite passer, and he has excellent court vision. Clair is a complete Varsity Basketball player and the only thing he needs is more exposure to showcase his abilities. He currently holds offers from The Ragin Cajuns (ULL) and University of New Orleans on top of all that.
