completed his senior season with a state championship. He is the #1 Point guard in the state, and even though he did not have eye popping numbers his impact goes beyond the stat sheet. Manning is a complete point guard with a lot left in the tank, and at the next level he is going to surprise a lot of coaches. He has 30 point capability, but plays the cerebral game and involves his team mates to effect winning. Calling him a winner is an understatement.

Manning once again demonstrated why he is considered one of the top players in the state, delivering a strong performance while leading John Curtis on the championship stage. The physical guard showed the ability to control the tempo of the game, scoring efficiently while also creating opportunities for teammates when defenses collapsed. Manning attacked downhill with confidence, displayed poise with the ball in his hands, and consistently made the right reads throughout the game. His leadership and composure were evident as he guided his team offensively while remaining active on the glass and as a facilitator. Manning finished with 18 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists, continuing to reinforce his reputation as one of the most reliable and productive guards in Louisiana.

Manning is the #1 PG in the state and he showed why he holds the title. The biggest game of the day was John Curtis vs Madison Prep, and he dropped a cool 27 points just to remind everyone that he is cut different. A quiet 27 on limited shots is impressive, but the way he sets the table for his team mates is special and it is next level. He walks the line between so many different types of skill sets. He is a calculated guard that looks quiet, but then he will show some emotion. He can put anybody in position to score whenever he wants. His game is complete, and exists without a flaw. He will be fun to watch in College. He will be a steal, and is an early candidate for Mr. Basketball in the State.

Manning is the best PG in the state and his strength lies in the details of his game. He is a high IQ Guard with the ability to score the ball, but the gift of facilitating. He is a master with the ball in his hands, and he uses his team mates for their strengths. He is a big time play maker that is a sure nightmare for opposing coaches. He is a hybrid Rondo/CP3 skilled guard and that can beat you on or off the ball. Curtis will be a top team in the state because of their point guard.

It wasn’t that long ago when Louisiana’s top player was a point guard. Manning is that for the 2026 class. When you think of a guard who puts pressure on a defense constantly, Manning is that guard. Autrail can come off the high screen, and make a pinpoint pass on one possession and a three on another. His basketball IQ is through the roof and he is in constant, play-making mode.

Manning is the top guy and did plenty to solidify his position this summer. During summer league play, he displayed some additions to his offensive game while still being a distributor. His ability to turn defense into offense using his quick hands and movement shows athleticism mixed with basketball IQ. He is the top dog for a reason and he continues to display it on the hardwood.
