Delphos St John's has state title expectations with three Elwer boys playing and Coach Elwer on the sidelines. Andrew is the middle of the three Elwer's for the Blue Jays and had a breakout grassroots season for [program_tooltip program_id='2076317' first='Midwest' last='Basketball Club 3SSB'] 16 U. Elwer has positional size, understands how to move without the basketball, defends and makes shots off the catch. These skills make him a valuable piece as a low usage player next to other stars. This has allowed him to carve out roles next to his older brother Cameron, as well as Division I prospects on the Midwest Basketball Club 16 U group. With his combination of basketball skills and how he's evolved as an athlete, I expect scholarship programs to target Elwer early in his 17 U grassroots season.

A multi-sport athlete, McGeady has the frame and length that translates on both the hardwood and the diamond. With long arms and strides, McGeady is a versatile defender who can play a variety of roles. McGeady has one of the strongest arms in the 2027 class as a pitcher and that's not surprising when you see the power he plays with as a basketball player as well. McGeady can also space the floor as a pick and pop option and fits in well with a St Xavier squad that wants to wear you down with their physicality.

Centerville has a ton of 2027 talent and Sam provides athleticism and scoring from the wing position. Sam had some big games in the month of June thanks to his quick first step as a slasher and perimeter shot-making ability. Sam shot over 50% from 3-point range January 16th on last season, continuing to show his confidence to space the floor this summer as well. After scoring 6.4 PPG last season, Sam could be one of the most productive wing guards in the GWOC this season.

Kibler made a big impact as a scorer at the Bleacher Prospect showcase to end July and that shouldn't be a surprise considering he led his conference in scoring as a sophomore. Excited to see how Kibler can round out his game during my next viewings of him because I know he can score the basketball at a high level. Under the radar name in southwest Ohio who has produced at a high level already in his varsity career.

Fairfield made a deep run to the regional final with an experienced roster last season. Those seniors have graduated which opens the door for a player like Davids to emerge as a key piece of their team. Davids is an explosive two-foot jumper who has the length and strength to score at the rim. Excited to see what he can show me offensively this season because he's already caught my eye as a glue piece who plays hard, rebounds and does things that don't show up on the stat sheet.
