The Expo: Team 15 Evaluations

Can score from all three levels and make key plays in transition with the ball in his hands. Did a great job of knowing when to double-team, which led to a few turnover opportunities in his opening game. His playmaking skills are also a strength on offense. Capable of shooting with confidence when a defender is up in his face. Something he does a really good job at when guarding opponents on the other end, too. The 6'6" F showcased a very solid first-step to the rim with a crafty finish early on. Added some athleticism later in the contest, nearly converting a windmill dunk. Johnson makes an impact in so many ways. His speed with the ball in transition is ver underrated, and this allowed him to make  great plays as a passer. Converted a very tough and-one in the middle of his first game. On the defensive end, he blocked many shots with his long wingspan while getting down the floor at a great pace. He also did a great job boxing out. He makes several athletic plays in transition while doing an excellent job of changing direction with the ball. Unfazed by contact attacking the rim, where he drew a pair of fouls in his first game. I love his ability to create shots, and he made a few nice midrange shots off the dribble. An efficient two-way player throughout the opening contest I covered. A player that never loses confidence and makes a huge difference while on the floor.
