It wasn’t the usual Stampley or Alton with their second best player out, but there was a bright spot for the Redbirds in their loss. He had 10 points in the loss including a couple of threes. The last one he hit a step back long ball which was the one that took him over the edge becoming the all-time leading scorer in the history of Alton basketball. He is headed to South Dakota State.

Future Summit League shooting guard started out first half with a hot hand from beyond the arc. Found open locations from different angles and hit 4 3’s at an efficient mark with one being at the buzzer to end the first half. Defensively picked up on the ball early at times to assist in slowing down opponent’s primary opportunities. Runs the floor balanced and even keeled in the break phase. Can fill it up quickly with a smooth release. Helped team get off to an early wide margin lead and not look back. Finished with 15.
