Saturday we were at Supreme Courts in Aurora checking out some of the top 2026 and 2027 prospects in the state of Illinois. We caught up with quite a few of them during registration at the camp. That included recent DePaul commit Mason Lockett IV Mason Lockett IV 6'5" | SG/CG Oswego East | 2026 State IL along with the top center in the 2026 class Bryce Wegrzyn Bryce Wegrzyn 6'8" | C Libertyvillle | 2026 State IL . We also chatted recruiting with a quartet of highly ranked 2027s in Kristopher Mporokoso Kristopher Mporokoso 6'4" | SF Waubonsie Valley | 2027 State IL , Jarrel Brown Jarrel Brown 6'5" | SF Normal Community | 2027 State IL , Lamari Carpenter Lamari Carpenter 6'4" | SF Glenbard North | 2027 State IL , and Deven Marshall Deven Marshall 6'1" | PG Rock Island | 2027 State IL .

The single most under recruited 2026 in state is Libertyville post Bryce Wegrzyn @BryceWegrzyn as the 6-9 big man who can shoot it from deep, rebound, and is skilled in post has ZERO D1 offers!
