High School Spotlight: New Albany Bulldogs

The season is still a few months away, but it is never too early to look ahead at the high school season. We will be taking a look at some quick hitters, the top player(s), a potential breakout player, other roster members, and notable games for the upcoming season. He has always had a lot of hype around and this season, [player_tooltip player_id='2382148' first='Noah' last='Washington'] is going to come in with high expectations as a player once again for the Bulldogs. At 6'5, there is simply not a whole that Washington can't do on the floor being a guy that plays with athleticism and can shoot the ball. He showed flashes this summer and will continue to be one of the more talked about players in the state. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Potential Breakout Player: [player_tooltip player_id='2873152' first='Greyson' last='Grubbs']<a href="https://prephoops.com/player/justin-kirby/"></a></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>One of the best bigs in the south portion of the state and a guy that could take some pressure off of Washington this season is Grey Grubbs. One of the better athletic bigs in the 2027 class, Grubbs is a transfer from Trinity in Louisville and brings production in the post. Grubbs is a good athlete at his position with the length and footwork to guard multiple positions on any given possession.
