1.) 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='1977422' first='Rio' last='Aguirre'] (Ankeny) -- 20.0 points per game

When you watch Aguirre play, one word comes to mind -- smooth. Everything he does looks effortless. He is fantastic in the mid-range, has elite court vision, and is a dynamic all-around offensive weapon. He's always a threat to drop 30 on you.

2.) 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2309944' first='Josiah' last='Harrington'] (North Scott) -- 19.0

Speaking of effortless scorers, Harrington, an Iowa State commit, is one of the most naturally gifted scoring threats we've seen in Iowa in quite some time. At 6-6/6-7 and with great handles, a quick first step, and a pure stroke from well beyond the high school line, he's an elite scoring threat from all three levels who impacts the game at a high level on both ends of the floor.

3.) 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2118611' first='Jerimiah' last='Washpun'] (Liberty) -- 19.0

Washpun is one of the fastest players in the state going end-to-end with the ball in his hands, and he thrives when he's playing downhill and using his speed, handles, and toughness to get to the bucket. He's good in the mid-range, and capable of knocking down an occasional 3, but he's certainly best when attacking the bucket.

4.) 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='2520040' first='Kai' last='Chamberlain'] (Sioux City North) -- 18.9

Chamberlain led a trio of double-figure scorers for the Stars last season, and with the other two graduating, he'll have a chance to see his scoring output shoot well north of 20 points per game. Like Washpun, he's a capable shooter, but is best when he's attacking the bucket and getting to the free-throw line, where he's among the best in the state (93.2% from the stripe).

5.) 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='1765524' first='Evan' last='Jacobson'] (Waukee) -- 18.3

The future Texas A&M tight end is also a force on the hardwood, putting up 8.8 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game in addition to his lofty scoring output. A 6-7/6-8 big man with soft touch, elite athleticism and strength, and great footwork, he's able to score inside and out with the best of them in the state, posting 45-45-68 shooting splits as a junior for the Warriors.

6.) 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='1172887' first='Tevin' last='Schultz'] (Senior) -- 18.1

Schultz is one of the most efficient scorers in the state, posting 58-44-73 shooting splits last season. He's a tough, athletic combo forward who can dominate smaller defenders on the block or take bigger defenders out to the perimeter and then beat them off the dribble.

7.) 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='2413554' first='Kyle' last='Smith'] (Marshalltown) -- 17.7

A talented shooting threat, who at 6-4 can shoot over defenders, Smith led the Bobcats in scoring and rebounding (7.6) last season. He shot 36% from the 3-point line, opening up the floor for the rest of his teammates.

8.) 2028 [player_tooltip player_id='2398477' first='Traeshon' last='Fields'] (Cedar Rapids Washington) -- 17.6

Few players in the state are as much fun to watch as this dynamic little guard from Cedar Rapids. Coming off a sensational freshman year, he's an incredibly skilled shotmaker and shot creator who can score from anywhere on the floor, and despite his small stature, he's an adept finisher around the rim. We're anxious to see what he has in store as a sophomore.

9.) 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2204081' first='Charlie' last='King'] (Roosevelt) -- 17.3

King is a gifted scorer who is capable of getting about as hot as anyone in the state from behind the 3-point line. And when he gets it going, good luck slowing him down. He has a lightning-quick trigger and shoots it incredibly well off both the dribble and the catch.

10.) 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='1978112' first='Carter' last='Light'] (Davenport Central) -- 17.0

A long wing who can score from all three levels, Light led the Blue Devils in scoring, rebounding, and blocks, while finishing second in assists and steals, as a junior. Following the graduations of the next three scorers from last year's team, he'll be asked to do even more as a senior.
