(5) SF [player_tooltip player_id='2523932' first='Kalan' last='Steinbeck'] | Council Bluffs Lincoln

A big wing who transferred across the river to Council Bluffs Lincoln after a successful freshman year at Blair (Nebraska), Steinbeck is a gifted shooter with great size on the wing at 6-5. He's able to shoot over his defenders, and he uses the threat of his shot to open up the rest of his offensive arsenal. He's a skilled passer who sees the floor well, contributes on the glass, and has the length and athleticism to be an effective multi-position defender.

(26) SG [player_tooltip player_id='2917300' first='Tate' last='Troster'] | ADM

Troster will become a key piece for the Tigers as a sophomore after playing sparingly as a freshman. He's a 6-3 guard who shoots it really, really well from the arc. He can play with or without the ball in his hands, shooting it equally effectively off the dribble or the catch. He's able to get teammates involved when he's in possession of the ball, seeing the floor well and finding open shooters.

(29) PG [player_tooltip player_id='2917312' first='Kooper' last='Henderson'] | Johnston

A talented lead guard who does a nice job setting up his teammates, Henderson is a pass-first guard who puts constant pressure on opposing teams with his speed, IQ, and handles. He's also a skilled on-ball defender who moves his feet really well on that end of the floor, making opposing ball-handlers work hard to get anything going against him.

(31) PF [player_tooltip player_id='2532827' first='Herpiny' last='Riang'] | Waukee

A long, bouncy forward who can protect the rim defensively, Riang's offensive game is still a bit of a work in progress, but he has some serious potential as a rim-running defender and rebounder.

(38) SF [player_tooltip player_id='2917306' first='CJ' last='Mosala'] | Council Bluffs Lincoln

A strong, physical 6-4 wing who can score inside and out, Mosala has a smooth stroke with range out to the high school line, and he shoots it effectively off both the dribble and the catch. He's willing to post up smaller defenders and take advantage of his physicality on the block, and he's a willing passer who sees the floor well.

(45) C [player_tooltip player_id='2917315' first='Camden' last='Crees'] | West Liberty

A big, mobile 6-7/6-8 center with soft hands, good footwork, and great touch around the rim, Crees is a developing young big man with a lot of potential with his frame and skill set. He averaged 3.0 points and 3.3 rebounds on 57.6% shooting as a freshman, and will become one of the Comets' go-to players as a sophomore.

(58) SF [player_tooltip player_id='2917310' first='Xander' last='Gurash'] | Storm Lake

Gurash appeared in 14 games as a freshman for the Tornadoes, averaging 3.3 points on 50% shooting. An athletic slasher who can get to the rim off the dribble, he'll step into a bigger role for a team that will be among the best in 3A this season.

(64) PF [player_tooltip player_id='2780740' first='Garrison' last='Thummel'] | Van Meter

Thummel was a standout at the Winterset Shootout back in June, showcasing his ability to score inside and out, control the glass on both ends of the floor, and occasionally protect the rim defensively. He's a strong, athletic forward with good hands, soft touch, and he can create plays out of the post with his vision.

(66) CG [player_tooltip player_id='2884737' first='Dade' last='Dehmlow'] | Denver

Dehmlow is small, listed at 5-6, but he's a skilled playmaker and shooter who can knock down shots off the dribble and the catch as well as create quality looks for his teammates. He'll step into a pretty significant role as a sophomore for the Cyclones.

(69) SG [player_tooltip player_id='2917304' first='Aaron' last='Ausborn'] | North Polk

Ausborn is a high-level shooting threat off both the dribble and the catch with range well beyond the high school line. He handles the ball well, can create plays off the dribble for his teammates, and he finishes well around the rim. On a North Polk team that is going to be very young under new coach Alan Jenkins, he'll have a chance to star immediately.
