He opened the game with a couple makes from three-point range, taking advantage of a hand not being in his face at all times. He looked great attacking the basket, giving defenders a bump where he could go up strong or show off touch a couple feet out from the basket. In both games I watched, he connected on several tough looks from beyond the arc. He was hitting off balance looks off the dribble from well behind the three-point line, as he is so unpredictable with the ball in his hands. He is always playing at full speed and 100% effort. He can play either of the guard spots, being very effective playing with or off the ball. He is a high percentage shooter from the perimeter with his quick jumper. He is an elite three-level scorer, who is a super tough guard when he is going to work in isolation situations. He was at his best when getting to his spots from three and in the mid-range, also being able to get inside for a finish with either hand. Defensively, he was giving opposing ball handlers a tough time, poking the ball free and jumping passing lanes for steals which resulted in easy baskets on the other hand. He rose up for some high flying blocks in transition too. As usual, he was knocking down open looks from three, being an automatic make for looks off the catch. He was also able to attack downhill, finishing off on controlled finishes with either hand. The incoming senior looked great when creating shots for himself off the dribble. He is able to play at his own pace, never looking sped up, reading and taking whatever the defense gave him.
