Sunday at EYBL Session IV was the final day of the first live period as well as the final day of the regular season for EYBL as trips to Peach Jam were officially punched. In this article I'll break down my standouts from Ohio and Kentucky that I saw.

Our number 1 player in the country continued to perform at a high level on the EYBL circuit for one of the top 17 U teams in Oakland Soliders. Stokes stuffed the stat sheet with 21 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Stokes athleticism is next level as his double clutch slam dunk was the most athletic play I saw all day. Defensively, Stokes sat down and defended forcing the opposition into tough shots and turning them over. As a passer, Stokes had some nice moments beating the double team by hitting cutters and shooters for open looks. Nitpicking his game, I'd imagine NBA scouts are looking for Stokes to cut down on the turnovers when he's trying to attack off the bounce.

A tough loss for Brad Beal Elite 16 U but they qualified for Peach Jam and Holman played his role well off the bench for his team. Holman has a sweet reverse layup off a baseline drive and hit a top of key 3 off the catch. Efficient from the floor, Holman was 3/4 from the field on Sunday morning. Add in solid defense and no turnovers, Holman did what was asked of him.

A big second half for White played a key role in Team Thad's game Vs Mokan Elite that went down to the final buzzer. A big time shot maker, White hit a couple 3-pointers against the zone defense and had a turnaround jumper. Also rebounding the ball well, White had a quick outlet off a rebound that led to his only assist of the game. Nice to see White make an impact off the bench in crunch time of a back and forth game, as one of the top prospects left in Kentucky high school basketball he's starting to showcase his talents on a national stage.

Team Why Not is one of the most impressive 16 U teams I've seen this year with like 7 guys who can really hurt you on any given night. On Sunday, Henry focused on crashing the glass on both ends of the floor and ended with 13 rebounds in just over 22 minutes of action! Henry was opportunistic about crashing the offensive glass and finished a couple easy putbacks with either hand at the rim. Henry has also made strides as a ball handler, looking much more fluid and confident than he was last year at the 15 U level. The next step for Henry will be to be able to provide consistent rim pressure off the bounce and being more assertive on both ends of the court. A ton of upside on both ends of the court for this wing prospect, I think there's easily another level Henry can reach next year as he continues to improve as a player.

New to Ohio, Gibson will be playing for Kevin Boyle and Spire Academy for his junior season. One of the most talented guards in the country, Gibson was incredibly impressive in my first in-person scout. I loved that Gibson played off two feet as a driver and was under control. Finishing with 23 points on 50% shooting from the floor, Gibson had some tough finishes through traffic. An elite athlete as well, Gibson can charge direction and explode in transition so effortlessly. I also was impressed by the decision making of Gibson, making some quick reads and finishing with 4 assists to just 1 turnover. The biggest thing I'll need to see from Gibson is a consistent 3-point shot but besides that he is an incredibly complete player at such a young age.

My last game of the night was [program_tooltip program_id='2320052' first='All' last='Ohio Red'] 15 U and they played a competitive game with Nj Scholars before falling to wrap up their EYBL regular season. [program_tooltip program_id='2320052' first='All' last='Ohio Red'] had some bright moments offensively with 10 made 3-pointers as a team. Arlinghaus can space the floor as a big with a smooth pick and pop game or just by spotting up in the corner. Also finishing with three offensive rebounds, Arlinghaus could've had a 4th that ended in a putback layup but was called for a soft foul on the play. Showing impressive offensive upside, Arlinghaus is just another name that Moeller has for the new few seasons as their program could be back at the top of southwest Ohio once their young talent gains experience.
