June 20-22 I attended the annual Section-7 at the Arizona Athletic Grounds in Mesa and I attended the Cali Live tournament June 27-29 in at the Open Gym Premier Sports Complex in Ladera Ranch.CA.

Both events were live periods where college coaches sometimes were standing room only watching certain teams and players.

Here were some of the 2028 Standouts Part-1

[player_tooltip player_id='1546987' first='Adan' last='Diggs'] Millennium

One of the top players of the two weekends. He will score it every way possible with threes, alley-oops, step thru with either hand getting to the basket with very few strides, dunks, spin off of the defenders and go to work. He gets to his spots with a tighter handle and has one of the highest level mid-range pull-ups with elevation in the class.

[player_tooltip player_id='1651788' first='Jakyi' last='Miles'] Mesa

A bigger point guard with feel and skill for days. His pace he plays at is different then most and sees the court well with his next level court vision. He will score with a nasty crossover into a pull-up and hit deep threes off the catch. He is deceptively quick to get to the basket and he is a mid-range king.

[player_tooltip player_id='2412268' first='Maurice' last='Carter II'] Willow Canyon

A tough defensive minded point guard makes his teammates better. He will make tough shots in the lane and put a lot of pressure on the defense with his speed and tight handle. He earns trips to the free throw line but his facilitating and on-ball defense are tough to handle.

[player_tooltip player_id='2386978' first='Jaydon' last='Hayes'] Willow Canyon

A scoring guard with a thicker frame. He defends, makes smart reads to his teammates and scores. He will put points on the board in a hurry with fall aways, catch threes, tough takes to the basket using his strong build and mid-range pull-ups off the dribble.

[player_tooltip player_id='2552787' first='Landen' last='Martineau'] Casteel (Pictured)

A pure point guard makes the game very easy for his teammates. He is always surveying the court and looking to thread the needle, throw ropes up the court or will drive and kick it. He will score with threes, mid-range jumpers and get into the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id='2552733' first='Donovan' last='Palmer'] Chandler

A long and tall post player with fluidity. He blocks and alters many shots per game. He rebounds the ball at a high clip and runs decently from end to end. He scores with dunks, layups, he is working on a hook shot and has a nice touch from the free throw line.

[player_tooltip player_id='2550840' first='Austin' last='Turner'] Higley

A long wing forward who defends and plays multiple positions. He is a natural slasher using his size and speed to get to the basket with a burst to the rim but he will also shoot it from the perimeter from the three point line.

[player_tooltip player_id='1956218' first='Marcus' last='Isaac'] Mountain Pointe

One of the top power forwards in the sophomore class is very fluid from end to end. He is one of the, if not the, top shot blockers in the class. His ability to defend multiple positions and then keeps plays alive on the glass makes his game go. He will score with layups and dunks.

[player_tooltip player_id='2194808' first='Carter' last='Bagley'] St. Mary's

A wing forward with strength and skill. He can score it from all levels with threes off the catch and he loves the pull-up from mid-range. He is a tough player who can get downhill and take a bump with his frame. He rebounds well in his area and he is a very consistent performer.
