An elite scorer at the midrange, and he can do it in a multitude of ways: pull up of the dribble in transition, turnaround jumper, post up and fadeaway. Has a smooth stroke, and gets great separation driving in and stepping back on a middy. He’s a guy that fights for the ball on every miss as well, looking to regain possession and flying in for tip-ins.

Jaydon is primed for huge season where he has the opportunity to show his full potential. Jaydon looked good with the ball in is hand and displayed his play making ability for him self and others. He is a very explosive athlete that puts constant pressure on the rim. He can take contact and finish strong or slam it coming down the lane. He has a sweet pull up from the midrange with nice rise to it. He will draw doubles with his scoring gravity and find the open teammate by the bucket or at the three. Jaydon will start to gain major interest from coaches this year.

There’s no doubt anymore, Willow Canyon is Jaydon Hayes Jaydon Hayes 6'2" | CG/PG Willow Canyon | 2028 State AZ ‘ team. The combo guard stepped into the point guard spot and showcased a much improved ability to run the offense and create shots for his teammates. He averaged six assists per game for the Wildcats at Section 7 and showed off his skills as a gifted rebounder for the position. Hayes continues to show off his scoring bag as an inside-out scorer and can takeover the game at any moment as soon as the first shot goes down for him.
