Elite midrange game, and he will score on you in a variety of ways. Backs opponents down at the elbow before turning around for a midrange fader, or catches defenders biting on a pump fake and goes up and under for an easy layup. Real strong inside and can gain an extra few feet into the paint just by dribbling and bodying people up, giving himself a short looking take at the rim. With his back to the basket he can post up and hit turnaround floaters as well. He is so difficult to defend in that area of the court because you never know what move he’s gonna throw at you, and he has a smooth enough stroke to consistently score even when he is defended well.

Gets to his spots with ease — midrange pull-ups, downhill drives, and creation off the bounce with a strong handle and enough frame to keep defenders off the ball. Finishes at the rim and above it, plays with a consistent motor, and on the ball he’s a tough, physical defender who makes it hard to get by.

Midrange scorer who plays bigger than a guard. Has a real feel for creating his own shot, working post-ups into turnarounds and able to pull up off the dribble. Had good success in the second game of the day, converting baseline post-up turnaround middys. What he really excelled at this past weekend compared to the SWBC was his ability to force contact and get to the line. Got there consistently in the second game off offensive boards and put-back attempts. He has a strong build and takes advantage of it on that extra effort, which makes it easier for him to finish through contact.

An elite scorer at the midrange, and he can do it in a multitude of ways: pull up of the dribble in transition, turnaround jumper, post up and fadeaway. Has a smooth stroke, and gets great separation driving in and stepping back on a middy. He’s a guy that fights for the ball on every miss as well, looking to regain possession and flying in for tip-ins.
