A solid body, battle tested guard had a good Spring and Summer on the EYCL Circuit. He can play both guard positions, good handles, court vision, a willing ball mover. He plays on balance had plenty of strong takes off the dribble getting to the basket, finishing through contact, or pulling up for short jumpers. He goes hard and strong to the basket in transition. He’ll be a key contributor for the Crusaders.

Limbrick was a player I had not heard of before but was intrigued by his size and the film I saw of him on his IG page and the wing/slasher came to the Central Valley and played quality hoops, which earned him a spot in the Top 30 All-Star Game. Limbrick had games of 10 points and 2 assists, followed by 8 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 more assists in the Top 30 Game, showcasing his ability to impact both ends of the court. Limbrick is active on the glass, gets points off the missed shot, has enough handles to push the ball up the court, active hands and good timing on defense to deflect passes, jump passing lanes, and alter shots on the perimeter with his length and bounce. Offensively, Limbrick has a strong handle on the ball, the moves to get by his initial defender, using the crossover, hezzy, fadeaway, wrap-behind, and between-cross to get open looks, has a great burst of speed to get downhill, the strength to score through contact around the basket, as well as use the euro-step, up-and-under, and reverse lay-ups to evade shot blockers. Limbrick moves well off the ball, gets to the open spot, and is effective with the 3-ball off the catch.

Jaxon Limerick is a versatile scorer who finds ways to put pressure on defenses all game long. He can score the ball in a variety of ways and gets to his spots with ease, playing with confidence and purpose on the offensive end.

His offensive motor stood out. Limerick stays in attack mode, constantly looking to make plays rather than settling. That approach paid off with a strong 15-point performance against Campolindo, where he consistently created scoring opportunities for himself. With his ability to score at multiple levels and his aggressive mindset, Jaxon Limerick continues to establish himself as a guard to watch

The transfer from Modesto Christian will have instant impact at his new school. He’s a quality combo guard in the 2028 class. Good size, handles the ball, sees the court, involves others. He can create his own shot opportunities with strong dribble drives to the basket. He hits the mid-range off the dribble, good finisher in transition. He’s a quality defender with good movement. We’ll see more.

He’s a fast and speedy guard with good ball handling skills. He’s fast pushing in transition, he’ll find open mates. He has a good first step, and hard dribbles attacking defenders to get into the paint along the perimeter. He has the quickness, and foot speed to be a good defender
