Marten stood out for [program_tooltip program_id='2075463' first='Elevation' last='Flyers'] by simply playing the right way. He didn't force anything; instead, he made smart, unselfish decisions. He moved the ball well, played within the flow, and made timely defensive plays, including a game-sealing steal. His poise and awareness were impressive, and he made an impact without needing to dominate the stat sheet. Quietly effective and dependable, and you don't see too much of that in these kinds of settings, so it was refreshing.

Kubik caught our eye with his relentless defense and high motor. He was a menace on the ball, moved laterally with ease, and consistently contested without fouling. His help-side awareness was next-level and it made up for other defensive lapses behind him. That's a great defender. Offensively, he hit from the outside and showed some shiftiness off the dribble. A true two-way guard who brought energy and made his presence felt on both ends. Very solid Day 1 for him.

Sisneros was a spark plug for SoCo, combining quickness and toughness. He had several impressive finishes at the rim, absorbing contact and converting. His defensive pressure created turnovers that turned into easy transition points. He was scoring a ton on the day and stayed aggressive, knocking down shots and never taking a possession off. That's a winning attitude you build around.

Amoah used his strength to carve out space and finish inside and that was on display throughout the day. He consistently powered through defenders, rolled hard off screens, and sealed well in the paint for easy finishes. His motor never stopped as he ran the floor, set solid picks, and stayed active on both ends. Amoah is a physical presence who understands how to use his frame and plays with intent. Excited to see if he builds off of that.

Gutches was one of my favorite watches of the day. He did a bit of everything. He scored in transition, handled the ball in the half court, and hit shots from the perimeter. His isolation game was sharp, as he changed pace, created space, and either scored or made the right pass. Add in his hustle and offensive versatility, and it's clear Gutches is a scorer to watch. It was great to see him playing in Colorado for the weekend as he turned some heads.
