Defensively he’s relentless, staying up in coverage, switching seamlessly and rotating quickly to contest open shooters. Offensively he’s just as dangerous, able to make it rain from three while also using a quick crossover to get downhill and attack the rim. His energy, versatility and competitiveness make him a tough matchup and a player opponents must account for every night

Kubik caught our eye with his relentless defense and high motor. He was a menace on the ball, moved laterally with ease, and consistently contested without fouling. His help-side awareness was next-level and it made up for other defensive lapses behind him. That’s a great defender. Offensively, he hit from the outside and showed some shiftiness off the dribble. A true two-way guard who brought energy and made his presence felt on both ends. Very solid Day 1 for him.
