Williams brought a well balanced shot diet, contributing on shot attempts from all three levels. Capable of getting to turnaround fadeaways about 14 feet out, the guard brings consistent footwork that may be leveraged for difficult shot attempts. He was equally effective contributing on the simple attempts, such as straight line drives and spot-up threes. Williams showed capabilities scoring reverse finishes in traffic, often while in transition situations.
John Kubik John Kubik 5'10" Pine Creek | 2026 CO – Pine Creek – 2026
Kubik was effective pushing the pace in transition, seeking passing opportunities when available. Off the catch, the guard is a capable shooter, possessing a compact form.
Julian Carrizales – Vista Peak – 2024
An active shooter, the left handed guard brought an assertive offensive playstyle. Capable of knocking down the ball from beyond the arc, Carrizales boasts a quick jumper that may be leveraged versus a contest.
Matthew Samson Matthew Samson 6'1" | CG Grandview | 2026 State CO – Grandview – 2026
Samson was a dependable pick and roll playmaker, often looking to probe into the lane and attack the rim. There were two areas in particular the guard did well, curling tight around the screens with the ball and slowing down the pace when necessary while attacking the rim. His change of speeds while attacking made him a bit trickier to stay with on those attempts. Another area worth noting was Samson’s willingness to fly in for a rebound, push the pace for coast to coast finishes or easy dishes to teammates. While stepping into three’s, Samson could contribute on those attempts through a light contest. Continuing to add strength will aid the guard with drawing fouls and growing his efficiency around the basket.
Darris Davenport – Rangeview – 2026
Davenport did well attacking downhill off the catch, seeking kick out passes should the lane be sealed off. His size advantage allowed him to see above the defense a bit easier than most backcourt options.
William Haapala William Haapala 6'2" Holy Family | 2025 CO – Holy Family – 2025
Bringing a controlled style of play, the guard rarely looks to blow by opponents, instead searching for efficient scoring spots. The guard has soft touch on floaters, capable of flowing off balance into those shot attempts.
Peyton Matkin Peyton Matkin 6'2" | SG Rocky Mountain | 2026 State CO – Rocky Mountain – 2026
A knockdown shooter, Matkin boasted value knocking down three point attempts off the catch. Hitting quite a few on the day, the guard boasts a high release point which may be leveraged against incoming contests. He did well cutting into the paint following a pass, consistently spacing the floor through his willingness to move away from the ball.
Cameron Hopkins Cameron Hopkins 6'4" | SF Cherokee Trail | 2026 CO – Cherokee Trail – 2026
Hopkins was among the most impactful rebounds on this team, staying true to the fundamentals as an avenue to be productive on the glass. The tall guard was consistent at finding a body and boxing out opponents, utilizing his superior strength to push away opponents.
Soren Singer Soren Singer 6'2" | PF Englewood | 2026 State CO – Englewood – 2026
