Who else impressed at the Great Plains Alliance from Minnesota? Here are the names that come to mind!

[player_tooltip player_id='2126128' first='Isaiah' last='Asuma'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2888391' first='Minnesota' last='Comets'] (Cherry). There were games where the help defense was bad, and Isaiah torched it. There were games where the help was good and Asuma was able to steadily elongate the possession and find ways for his team to get value out of the possession. His first step is too much for 16u and Isaiah's ability to finish in traffic is at a level most at his age can't reach.

[player_tooltip player_id='2815226' first='Will' last='Bromeland'] of Minnesota Rise (Blue Earth). The MBCA Camp introduced us to Will and this weekend we saw Will help Rise earn a win as he hit four threes, 8 of 10 foul shots, and scored 24 points overall. He's had several 20+ games for the Rise this year.

[player_tooltip player_id='2524646' first='Griffin' last='Epema'] of Southwest MN Stars (Montevideo). I think Epema has a chance to be even better than I thought in March and April. His feel for the game allows him to be a top player for his team at 17u and as he gets more skilled and applies that skill to his high level knowledge, he's going to make them even tougher to deal with.

[player_tooltip player_id='1960892' first='Henry' last='Knutson'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] (Maple Grove). The Crimson has a star in [player_tooltip player_id='2126467' first='Baboucarr' last='Ann'], they have a player that sat out to transfer last year in [player_tooltip player_id='2126442' first='Bennett' last='Cizadlo'], and likely a couple transfers coming in but we will just wait until somebody else makes that official. The point is..... don't forget about Henry. This two sport standout at 6'4 shot 38-39 percent at the arc this year averaging 10 and 8 and he routinely does that for the Fury as well. An unsung starting standout that is highly valued.

[player_tooltip player_id='2860073' first='Brady' last='Lam'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2075685' first='Minnesota' last='Select'] (Wayzata). We all saw Brady have that amazing game playing with all D1 and D2 offered players at MBCA. The question after that was.... can he keep doing some of that? A 14 point, seven rebound game on 11 shot attempts against a Warwick team of D1/D2 offered guys seems to suggest Brady can!

[player_tooltip player_id='2728383' first='Damarion' last='Moss'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2076003' first='West' last='Central United'] (Detroit Lakes). A 15 point per game starter last winter, Moss has grabbed some attention playing with WCU this off-season. A steady playmaker that is a good passer, Moss can also get the ball back and attack with dribble separation to get space and score. Including a nice pull-up jumper.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126447' first='Briggs' last='Sheridan'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] (Farmington). At 6'9 Briggs is different because of the face up touch. The range on that touch. And the face-up ability that teams love. We saw him hit multiple threes in both games we saw him play this weekend and Briggs hit double digits in scoring in both of those games.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126865' first='Grady' last='Starzl'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2888391' first='Minnesota' last='Comets'] (Alexandria). As I watch Grady game after game for the Comets I have realized, Alexandria's drop off is not going to be as far as people think. Even with them moving to Class AAAA. No Grady is not replacing Chase, nobody expects that. But with the Witts and Roderick back to score, and [player_tooltip player_id='2115658' first='Myles' last='Gray'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2119601' first='Thomas' last='Hinrichs'] back to play roles at a high level, Starzl just needs to be smart, active and consistent. He did that all weekend for the event champs.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126102' first='Jaeden' last='Udean'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] (DeLaSalle). What makes Jaeden different? And special? His scoring touch can completely change a game when it's on. Four or five threes in a flurry. Basket attack touched in finishes. He's a special scorer that is rare. And when he's hot the range seems to be a non-factor as he can hit from NBA areas.

[player_tooltip player_id='2406558' first='Nicholas' last='Vanheel'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2888391' first='Minnesota' last='Comets'] (Albany). With a new coach and a new rotation, Albany is starting over. It's clear and it's understood. But to have a Nick VanHeel next up for a program is a big deal. At 6'5, active and explosive, I think Nick can have a huge sophomore season. He had a great weekend for the Comets.
