Five to Watch – Vermont

The 2027 prospect has a physically advanced frame with long arms, and as a plus athlete, has the ability to do a bunch of different things on the basketball court. Defensively, he has lockdown ability on the perimeter, using his length and quickness to his advantage to hound opposing ball-handlers, generating plenty of steals and deflections. Offensively, he continues to expand his game and shows the ability to make plays as an on-ball creator or off the ball as a scorer. The 2026 prospect has the ability to make plays off the bounce, showing a quick first step and a good handle in tight spaces. He knows how to create space off the bounce, allowing him to operate as both a score and facilitator. He does a nice job of using his length and athleticism as a finisher, particularly when met by size at the rim. The 2026 prospect is a crafty offensive performer that has the ability to create, facilitate, and score. Back at <em>Vermont Academy</em>, he's a gifted scorer that does a nice job of getting to his spots in the mid-range and also has a quick release and deep range on his jumper. He's a willing ball mover, makes good decisions as a passer of the bounce, and moves well without the basketball. The 2026 prospect is one of the top scorers out of Vermont, showing the ability to get baskets at all three levels. He has a quick release on his jumper and does a nice job of elevating into his shot in catch and shoot situations. With the ball in his hands, he can get past the initial defender and shows an understanding of when to dish it off and when to score over size. Defensively, he's really active at the point of attack and does a nice job of using his quick hands to generate steals and deflections. The 2026 guard is a three level scorer that moves well without the basketball, shows good instincts as a cutter, and can get into his mid-range game off the bounce. He does a nice job of developing his overall game and is equally comfortable off the ball or operating with it in his hands. On top of that, he does a nice job of picking his spots as an offensive rebounder.
