There's not a true point guard in the state, regardless of class that controls the game the way that Noah does. I am sold on it. He understands time and possession, when to score and when to facilitate, and even better, when it's time to take over. His Pluto team played up two age groups in this one to get ready for a gauntlet of the rest of the summer, and not only did they fit in, but they stood out. Noah got everyone involved, played hard-nosed defense as he picked up full-court and made opposing guards earn every single bucket, but also scored with ease. He gets where he wants on the court, has an incredible feel for the game, and will be one of the state's best for years to come.

Eva is a guard who has a great feel for the game. He passes teammates open and is a small guard capable of scoring inside. He has an inside-out attack as he shoots the 3-ball to keep defenses honest, but is one of the better iso scorers who creates for himself off the dribble. Once he gets that going and defenses commit, it is when he starts dissecting with passes, and that is when I feel he is at his best. I enjoy when Montoya starts operating as a true PG with his IQ on display, as he starts dealing, as he has a loaded bunch around him for the Roughriders that can light it up. He continues to grow on me.

Kobi is a passionate guard who leaves it all out on the floor. He scores in bunches, defends tight as an on-and-off-ball pest, and truly wants to win. He is a more undersized guard who plays with a chip on his shoulder, and opposing guards feel him every time that he's out there. He's a natural scorer who excels in ISO situations, but he also can break a defender down, use the screen, and either score or hit the open man. Despite the losses on the weekend, he played hard and left his mark on the game. I also watched him last week for Overland, and the consistency is there. He's a player who should turn a few heads this season as he is not yet on radars but will be.

Fleck was a player who stood out to me in multiple games as he did a bit of everything for Anarchy this weekend. He stands out when he is in the zone as he's a pest defensively, and his work on that end of the floor got his teammates involved. He's the team's emotional leader, and he uses his speed to get to where he wants. He had some blow-by finishes at the basket, knocked down a few open 3's, and made defenses key in on him. He was a player who was not ranked heading into the weekend, but will surely be on our list with his play from this weekend. Excited to see what Cordell can do if he fully commits to it, and hopefully that starts now.

Lechuga is a player we've seen highlights of for the past few years, but it was great to see him in live action. Let's get this out of the way early — Lechuga can shoot it. He was one of the better shooters that we saw on the weekend. He knocked down open 3's created for himself off the dribble and has a package that he gets into on iso situations with pull-up jumpers. He was also one of the better rebounders we saw from the guard position, as he battles for position, grabs the board, and gets on the break, doing the little things that keep you on the floor. He's a guard that does a bit of everything and is a player that I feel that coaches should be paying attention to. Loved what I saw from Lechuga all weekend, and one of the biggest risers for me based on that play.
