June was a busy month covering all of the scholastic events here in the state of Indiana including great live period events like the Charlie Hughes Showcase and IBCA Top 100 Showcase. However, on top of all of that, we also spent a great deal of time in June updating our prospect rankings. The rising seniors in the Class of 2026 had their expanded and updated prospect rankings released on Monday, June 30th. Now, as we always do here at Prep Hoops Indiana, it is time to dive deeper into the rankings. Over the course of this week we will highlight stock-risers, new names, Watch List players to know, and much more. Here is part one of our two part look at the new names that emerged in our rankings since our last update in March.

We have mentioned Anga quite a bit of late, but that is simply a testament to his continued hard work on the hardwood. The 6'7" center is really coming along and is starting to catch the attention of college coaches. He is incredibly strong and physical, plays hard, and has the tools to be a real beast on the glass. As Anga, a Ben Davis High School rising senior, continues to develop his offensive skill his game will do nothing but take off even more.

Among the top ranked players in the state of Tennessee before transferring from Whitehaven High School to Evansville Bosse High School, Bowen makes his debut in the Hoosier state at #17 overall. The super athletic 6'5" wing has all of the physical tools you could ask for in a two-way prospect. We've been able to see him play a couple of times in June and came away very impressed with the way he finished around the basket as a driver and slasher. Southern Indiana has offered Bowen since enrolling at Bosse.

While not a "new name" to us in the general since, this was the first time that Clark has actually broken into our prospect rankings and he does so up at #1116. The Bloomington South floor general is an excellent passer, but has also shown off his scoring chops throughout the spring and summer. When he isn't setting up his teammates he is a very good three-point shooting threat in his own right. He is a high-IQ point guard coming from a winning program. Some small college will value that and get a very good player.

A move-in from Evanston in Illinois, Dillard caught our attention right away at the Charlie Hughes Showcase. The 6'6" forward/center was an impact player for Liberty Christian showcasing his fluid athleticism and strength in the front court. Dillard can drive it at you, he can start the break after a rebound in transition, and he can bang around on the low block. The versatility to his offensive games is very intriguing. We definitely see attracting some college attention throughout his senior season.

New Haven High School will be a sneaky-good team in 2025-2026 that can compete among the best in Fort Wayne. The return of Ezell for his senior season is a big reason for their optimism. He averaged 13.0 points per game last season and was the best three-point shooter on the team. Ezell has the athleticism and dynamic playmaking ability to create his own shot at anytime. He is a microwave-type scorer who brings an instant punch on the offensive end to any backcourt.

Pritzel had a solid junior season at McCutcheon High School averaging 10.4 points and 5.7 rebounds per game while showing off some improved skill away from the basket. The 6'7" forward is a fluid athlete and is continuing to become more and more comfortable as a face-up shooting threat out to three-point range. Continuing to add to his game in that way will only make him more intriguing as a prospect. What we saw this spring seemed to indicate that development is continuing.

Richmond has been on our Watch List for quite some time, but he is a "new name" in the rankings in this update. The versatile 6'4" forward was very impressive in the game we watched at Charlie Hughes between Columbia City and Lawrence Central. He was very poised with the ball around the basket and effective against their size, length, and athleticism. Richmond has a great interior game and can be a real matchup issue for opponents. He was very deserving of making his debut all of the way up at #83 overall.

Zapata really made a name for himself at the Charlie Hughes Showcase with a couple of big games for Decatur Central High School. The versatile 6'4" wing/forward scored 26 points in a win over Bloomfield that we watched and backed it up with 17 points in an impressive win over Merrillville. He is excellent at attacking closeouts, effective in transition, and more than capable of making open catch-and-shoot three-point shots.
