The Rams were dominant in June including going 4-0 in their pool winning by an average of 23.3 points and holding opponents to 36.5 points a game. Won every game by double digits including wins against CPS powers Simeon and Curie. It all starts with their senior duo of point guard [player_tooltip player_id='1435692' first='Rykan' last='Woo'] and big man [player_tooltip player_id='1845360' first='Rashaun' last='Porter']. Woo is the ultimate floor general being able to impact the game in so many ways. He is a winning player that shoots it well, elite passing feel, and puts pressure on the ball defensively. Porter is often the recipient of his dimes as the big man has improved so much athletically throwing down forceful jams out of the dunker spot, on lobs, and taking it off the bounce. Dominant rebounder and tough defender. [player_tooltip player_id='2323334' first='AJ' last='Chambers'] is a super consistent combo guard that defends, passes, and picks his spots to score in impactful moments. [player_tooltip player_id='2376273' first='Zion' last='Lee'] is a long and rangy wing that transferred in from SHG. He fits their defensive style with his versatility and length. [player_tooltip player_id='2425702' first='Magnus' last='Johnson'] is a skilled post that gives this team even more upside as he continues to improve. Sophomore point guard [player_tooltip player_id='2842573' first='Blake' last='Choice'] brings another ball handler with size that can play on or off the ball bringing some youth to this senior laden group going for the 4-Peat.

The Redwings went 4-0 at Romeoville winning by an insane 30.8 points a game. Held their opponents to 35 points a game. We were there for their 78-38 win against an Oswego East team that has a pair of D1 prospects. One of the premier frontlines in the state with senior seven footer [player_tooltip player_id='2105376' first='Colin' last='Stack'] and junior power forward [player_tooltip player_id='2323620' first='Ed' last='Stasys']. Stack is the best rim protector in the 2026 class as he will record 3+ blocks on the regular. Lob threat and can stretch it on occasion. Stasys was dominant at Romeoville as a rebounder consistently snatching boards on both ends with his strength and athleticism. Efficient scorer around the hoop. Senior point guard [player_tooltip player_id='2105390' first='Jayden' last='Wright'] is a plus shooter that displayed an improved passing feel at Romeoville. [player_tooltip player_id='2425956' first='Perry' last='Tchiegne'] is a long and rangy defender that has lock down potential while also being a sneaky offensive threat. Ethan MacDermot has emerged as a plus shooter and solid defender in the backcourt. They have a ton of depth when it comes to shooters off the bench.

Marist

They went 3-1 on the weekend with their lone loss coming to another team on this list in Kankakee. Won by double digits against Oswego, Mt. Vernon, and Webster Groves. We saw the game against Webster Groves where they dominated a team with a pair of high-major players. [player_tooltip player_id='1845350' first='Stephen' last='Brown'] is playing the best basketball of his career as a mobile and athletic four that is rebounding, playing above the rim, and bringing a high-motor. [player_tooltip player_id='1552436' first='Karson' last='Thomas'] is a wing that brings major scoring pop as a physical slasher and shot maker. He can also defend multiple positions. [player_tooltip player_id='1552445' first='Charles' last='Barnes Jr']. is a rangy wing that scores from 10 feet in and is a monster multi positional defender. Their backcourt of [player_tooltip player_id='2323300' first='TJ' last='Tate'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1845365' first='Adoni' last='Vassilakis'] are excellent passers and pesky defenders. The x-factor is power forward [player_tooltip player_id='2125658' first='Kendall' last='Meyers'] who has size and skill up front.

Warren

The state runners up in 4A a year ago went 4-0 with a 12 point average margin of victory. Their best win of the weekend was a 70-61 W against Bolingbrook. Warren has the best player in the state in [player_tooltip player_id='2323571' first='Jaxson' last='Davis']. The top junior in Illinois is a flat out winner that shoots it, soft touch finishes, makes winning plays as a passer, and is a pesky defender. When you have him on your team you have a chance to win every game. [player_tooltip player_id='2437519' first='Braylon' last='Walker'] is a strong bodied wing that is coming into his own and is primed to take on the role as the #2 scorer for this squad. [player_tooltip player_id='2403693' first='Avonn' last='King'] is the new big man that will be an efficient finisher down low and gobble up rebounds on both ends. He has been very impressive. [player_tooltip player_id='2437525' first='Joel' last='Paasch'] has emerged as a big time shooter with size at 6'4” consistently raining in threes each game. [player_tooltip player_id='2469077' first='Tayte' last='Cordova'] is a sleeper wing that transferred back to Illinois after a year in Tennessee.

Kankakee

The Kays went 4-0 on the weekend winning by an average margin of 19 points per game including a 52-45 victory against Marist. They have the #1 senior in the state in [player_tooltip player_id='2105360' first='Lincoln' last='Williams'] who when playing as locked in as he was at Romeoville he is an absolute force on both ends. [player_tooltip player_id='1552625' first='EJ' last='Hazelett'] is a top 5 prospect that as a combo forward can play inside and out. Very good rebounder and physical around the hoop. [player_tooltip player_id='1874852' first='Myair' last='Thompson'] is a senior lead guard with a ton of experience that wins games with his passing, speed, and slick handles. [player_tooltip player_id='1874752' first='Kenaz' last='Jackson Jr.'] is a skilled and athletic small forward that brings versatility on both ends.
