[player_tooltip player_id='1765539' first='Max' last='Roach'] was the definition of shifty at Winterset. His ball handling and innate scoring feel stood out greatly. He slithered his way to the basket nonstop with crafty handles and great stop-and-start ability. These skills got him downhill at a high rate and allowed him to leverage his quick processing of defenses. Leading to exceptional looks for his team both around the basket and from three. Max dimed up his teammates on the fast break consistently as well, showing his special court vision with accurate hit-ahead passes. As a shooter, Max also stretched the floor at a high level, hitting many threes and drawing multiple fouls as a jump shooter behind the line. Overall, [player_tooltip player_id='1765539' first='Max' last='Roach'] proved he is one of the most talented guards in his class.

[player_tooltip player_id='2204081' first='Charlie' last='King'] made it look easy at the Winterset Summer Shootout. Charlie was the most consistent and willing shooter at this event. If given any space, Charlie would pull from deep range and hit at an insane clip with his super quick release. However, Charlie offered value in many more ways than just great shooting. He was elite at handling the rock and dusting defenders one-on-one and creating advantages in the half-court. This allowed him to demonstrate his elite playmaking vision and sound decision-making at high speeds. [player_tooltip player_id='2204081' first='Charlie' last='King'] does a little bit of everything and stood out as one of the best guards at this event.

[player_tooltip player_id='1978111' first='Jake' last='Pargeon'] showed elite versatility throughout the Winterset Summer Shootout. Jake was one of the top two-way talents at the guard position I saw at this event. His size and length allowed him to create many paint touches, as well as making him a formidable opponent for opposing ball handlers and sometimes forwards, showing his defensive versatility. Jake was a hard shooter to contest with his fast and high release, and hit many threes off the catch. Jake also showed many flashes as a pick-and-roll ball handler, making very decisive and smart reads and whipping accurate passes with one hand routinely. Jake showed that his skill set is extremely vast and that he impacts the game in a multitude of ways on both ends.

[player_tooltip player_id='2519974' first='Jack' last='Badding'] was very impressive as a floor general throughout this contest. Jack was elite at setting the table for his teammates and finding them in perfect position in the flow of the offense. He handled the ball with care and drew crowds of defenders often, but would always make the correct read and spray out to his teammates for great three-point looks. He's always making the extra pass; he is the opposite of selfish. However, he wasn't only a great passer; he showed a knack for getting downhill and bullying defenders with his solid frame at the cup. Leading to many tough finishes at the rim with his fantastic touch. Jake Badding is exactly who you want running your offense in the half-court, and he showed that throughout this event.

[player_tooltip player_id='1765518' first='Jude' last='Gibson'] was a walking paint touch at the Winterset Summer Shootout. He showed elite burst and one-on-one shot creation flashes. His in-and-out dribble shook defenders every time and allowed him to get to the rim with ease, where he finished with his fantastic touch. Jude keeps his moves very simple, but explodes out of them at high speeds, making him a wrecking ball downhill, and when defenders go under, he is adept at getting to his spots and rising up for mid-range jumpers that he hits consistently. He draws a lot of attention because of this and is elite at finding his teammates, fitting passes through tight windows, and throwing pinpoint accurate lobs. He is also a very impactful individual defender at the other end with his solid frame and quickness. Allowing no penetration from opposing guards and playing his heart out no matter the score. [player_tooltip player_id='1765518' first='Jude' last='Gibson'] looked like one of the best guards at this event and certainly played like it.
