, and he has thrived. A high IQ, physical guard who sees the floor incredibly well, Badding has an innate feel for the game and seems to see the game a play or two ahead of most of the other players on the floor. Like Schon and Glynn, despite being a guard, he isn’t afraid to mix it up in the paint and on the glass, pulling down 6 rebounds to go with 15 points and a handful of helpers.

put on a clinic from behind the arc in this game. Jack’s release is insanely fast and efficient. His mechanics as a shooter are on point, and he hit shots from distance routinely in this game. He was a constant worry for the opposing defense and still hit many shots from outside, while also spacing the floor for his teammates. His shooting threat created many hard closeouts from defenders, allowing him to attack downhill. His body control and touch really stood out around the rim, as he was able to finish tough reverse layups through thickets of defenders with ease. He was great as a passer in this game as well, always keeping the ball moving. He was also great at handling the ball and creating plays. He did all of this while being a very engaged defender who got in the passing lanes for steals and made life difficult for every matchup he was tasked with.

Badding was second on the Knights in assists per game last season, dishing out 4.0 helpers a contest and posting a 2.55 assist-to-turnover ratio. Following the graduation of Carson Kanne, he should have the ball in his hands even more this season. He sees the floor well and is a good perimeter shooter off the dribble.

Badding doesn’t put up eye-popping numbers, but his shot creation and shot making make him one of the top players in the class. He averaged 8.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 2.1 steals per game last season for the Knights and will step into a more prominent ball-handling role following the graduation of lead guard Carson Kanne.
