Perkins should step into a primary playmaking role this season for the Knights, who figure to be one of the most potent offensive teams in the class yet again. He’s an intelligent lead guard who does a great job protecting the rock, posting a 2.53 assist-to-turnover ratio last season. He’s a capable three-level scorer who posted 49-33-72 shooting splits as a junior, and he’s a really solid on-ball defender. With a number of losses to graduation, Kuemper will have ample opportunity for Perkins to step up.
