-Joy looked poise to take on a primary role as the focal point of the Tigers' offense as he steps into his senior season. Joy is a crafty lefty point guard that excels at getting to the rim and scoring off of pull-ups from the elbow. But the biggest area for growth is that he is beginning to see the floor a bit better and is delivering some beautiful passes from the paint to his shooters to generate open looks for his offense. The next area is to drive more often to space and avoid trying to split through narrow gaps, to make the simple play instead of forcing the action. However, his competitive fire and varied skillset will be really crucial to the Tigers' success this season as a team.

-The #2 player in our 2026 class proved his value as a dynamic scorer that has finished with at least 20 points in every game that I've seen him in (AAU or HS) since transferred to PGCA after his freshman season. The consistent scoring has taken a leap with an improved jumper off the bounce but the secret to his continued success is his ability to draw contact in the paint and earn himself trips to the line. Mundey is almost automatic on touch shots in the paint and has improved his layup package to be able to score over or around a variety of defenders that each team he faces will throw at him throughout the game. As he continues to ratchet up the pressure defensively and use his scoring gravity to create for others, I believe more and more high major college basketball coaches will pull the trigger on a scholarship offer.

10p 2a 2r 1b vs Clinton Grace, 11p 7r 2a 4s vs Carroll
-First viewing of Knight in awhile and the flashes were encouraging in new threads with the Tigers. The electric scoring point guard knows how to put on a show and constantly broke his man down off the dribble to get to his spots in the halfcourt. Want to catch him on a day where he isn't playing 3 games in one day to see how consistent of a shooter he can be from deep as an off-ball shooter but the form was encouraging. His highlight of the day game on a steal and a beautiful behind the back dime to the cutter for an easy two in transition as he fell out of bounds on the play.

-One of the top shooters in the event, Walker proved his value as a perimeter sniper with 7 made 3s in two games for the Tigers. Walker was confident without gunning, finding opportunities to let one go from beyond the arc wihile unselfishly swinging the ball to go from good to great for JR. Loved the defensive flashes that we saw from him both on and off the ball as a pesky defender that understands when to shoot the gap and slide in for a steal or deflection for his team. Expect him to create a name for himself this season as a shooter that must be accounted for on the scouting report.

-Loved the aggression at both ends of the floor from the rising sophomore as he was completely fearless for the Cougars throughout the event. I believe he deserves consideration as a top 5 perimeter defender in the area as he was incredibly impressive at the defensive end of the floor. A physical guard that navigates screens well, does a great job of forcing sideline, and has very quick/active hands-- he was switched onto Mundey late in the game and forced several tough shots down the stretch of that contest. The lefty can also boogie at the other end of the floor, showcasing pretty good feel for when to attack closeouts and get all the way to the rim while also understanding when to take a 1 or 2-dribble pull-up in space. Definite candidate to move up in our 2028 rankings here in June.

-Carroll has a fun stable of guards to deploy throughout each game but I expect Jobin to carve out a big role for himself as the Canadian product heads into his senior year. Jobin has a nose for the basketball and understands the pace he needs to play with to beat his opponent to long rebounds or loose balls that will be valuable to his team getting out in transition. A tight handle allows him to navigate well in traffic and he should've finished with at least 4 or 5 assists in this one, the ball just didn't bounce his team's way in this one. The afore-mentioned nose for the basketball allowed him to secure two putbacks around the basket, find shooters on the perimeter, and generate good looks for his team at the end of shot clocks.

-Consistency will continue to be the name of the game for this junior floor general as he develops his feel as a leader. Loved his change of pace with this one and his assertive decision-making off the bounce. Hill's aggressive brand of basketball often earns him several trips to the FT line or great advantage creation scenarios when he is able to keep his defender on his hip once he gets past them. A proven shooter both off the catch or off the dribble that can also finish well around the basket, I want to see him find more opportunities to come off of screens or closeouts by getting to space to hit open 18-footers. Love the way that he leverages his size and quickness in ball screens at the defensive end of the floor to come up with deflections or push the ballhandler towards the sideline or towards halfcourt to disrupt the flow of the opposing offense.
