One of the most athletic players I saw all night, Martin makes some plays that very few players can achieve thanks to his physical gifts. Able to play above the rim, block shots and run in transition, Martin moves with a different level of explosiveness than anybody else on the court. What I actually liked most about his game was his on-ball defense, shutting down numerous drives and forcing turnovers and tough shots. When a guy with his physical tools is locked in like Martin was on Saturday, he's not a guy I'd want to target in isolation situations.

Wright was absolutely dominant in a blowout victory over Boyd County as they had nobody who could keep him off the glass or from scoring on the interior. One of the most physically dominant athletes in Kentucky, Wright had too many second chance points to count. Where I really think Wright can set himself apart is his passing ability, making a few passes out of the post, a few skip passes and quick outlets to start transition opportunities. If Wright can find a stable grassroots situation, I expect his recruiting to spike in July.

Lyon County looked dominant on Saturday evening as I caught them in a blowout victory with a handful of Division I coaches in attendance. Coffman certainly gave the coaches a performance to take notes about as the forward was extremely productive as an inside-outside scorer. Coffman does a nice job moving without the basketball and is physical when he catches it around the rim. His high motor also allowed him to finish a pair of second chance opportunities he got by rebounding his own miss. Also knocking down a handful of 3-pointers, Coffman doesn't have a picturesque shot but it consistently goes in when I watch him play. Coffman already holds a Division I offer from SEMO and surely added to his list of interested programs on Saturday evening.

You are always going to see toughness and hustle from a Warren central squad and that's exactly what I got to see on Saturday evening as their balanced team effort offensively helped them charge along. Hulbert showed some promise as a future key piece of the program as a 2028 wing guard who has a strong frame, defends, made a couple solid passes and competed. Doing that many things as a sophomore coming off the bench for your team is a great way to get noticed and that's why he made the standouts list from Saturday evening.

I was really impressed with Armstrong as he shot the cover off the basketball from long distance. A repeatable shot form even from 25+ feet, Armstrong has ‘in the gym' type range. A skilled forward who can bring the ball up the court, pass to beat the full court press and direct traffic in the half-court, Armstrong does it all offensively for his team. If Armstrong can transform his body then he could really start to get some serious college interest.

Male has a case to be the number one team in Kentucky with their depth of size, athleticism and offensive talent. Mitchell checks all three of those boxes as he is just a flat out gamer. Able to score the basketball in a variety of ways and playing really hard on both ends of the court, Mitchell had some tough layup finishes and hit some contested shots on the perimeter in a statement win over Lakota West. One of the top players in Kentucky's 2028 class, Mitchell and [player_tooltip player_id='2360949' first='Trey' last='Hillerich'] have both helped themselves this weekend with standout performances.
