There were some outstanding performances all weekend long at the Prep Hoops Circuit's Michigan State Tournament. It's impossible to see every player or every game, but I can provide a list of players that played like stars when I watched them. Obviously this list isn't all inclusive, but it will cover a lot of 17u and a touch of 16u. Let's have a look at some of the weekend stars!

Opsommer was really solid all weekend long and he was very consistent with it as well. It seemed like he showed up and had a big game influence every time on the floor. He has a good frame and feet combo that allowed him to attack offensively from a variety of spots.

Martin was nothing short of terrific at the Michigan State Tournament. And he was great on both ends of the floor. Martin was able to swipe up on the ball when pressuring his man, which created turnovers and instant offense on the other end. He was tremendous coming to a jump stop in and around the lane and using his pivot foot to create scoring opportunities.

Haidar put himself on the map at the Prep Hoops Circuit event. Even with a wrist injury, he was able to shoot and find buckets and control a game offensively. Haidar was able to connect on his jumper, but also score off double lane drives and offensive rebounds.

Davis has really made an name for himself on the Prep Hoops Circuit. The dynamic lead guard has shown the ability to play the point as both a distributor and a scorer. He can create off the bounce, we saw it in May and again this weekend. But we also saw Davis feed cutters and pass into the post this weekend.

Jackson definitely looked like a star at the event this weekend. He was consistently dangerous with the ball in his hands. He hit more than a handful of 3's from the top and hit them off the bounce and the catch. Jackson also showed the ability to get to the rim and finish through contact with creativity.

Watkins was one of the most impressive players in the gym at the Michigan State Tournament. Offensively, he was able to get downhill the entire weekend which is when he's been at his best. I think his strong frame makes that a successful style for him. Watkins was also very impactful on the defensive end. His defensive performance highlighted his foot speed and quickness.
