I’m not too familiar with the state of homeschool basketball players in Michigan but maybe I should be. Roman plays very hard on both ends of the floor, which I especially appreciate in meaningless fall-league games. He even put down a big time dunk in transition.

Opsommer can be seen with Moneyball East. He’s a big 6-6 with the next level frame to go with it. Opsommer has touch around the rim and he can step outside and bury a jumper from behind the arc. He had a huge weekend at the Prep Hoops Michigan State Tournament, so I’m looking forward to seeing him follow up that outing.

Opsommer was really solid all weekend long and he was very consistent with it as well. It seemed like he showed up and had a big game influence every time on the floor. He has a good frame and feet combo that allowed him to attack offensively from a variety of spots.

Opsommer showed his ability to fill it up with the jumper. He was a multi level scorer and he proved it with a huge wing triple in the 17u championship game. Opsommer earned his way on the recruiting map this weekend.
