Some of the best players on Saturday caught the attention of Prep Hoops Minnesota AND several college coaches in attendance!

[player_tooltip player_id='1560797' first='Jaxon' last='Boschee'] of Bemidji (2026). It was good to get a look at Boschee in this environment and I thought he impressed. What did he do better than the other six foot area guards in his class that can also shoot it? I thought he was quicker than the others with each dribble and with each move, and I thought his command with the ball was better on his team in relation to some of the others.

[player_tooltip player_id='2412724' first='Dre' last='Collins'] of Richfield (2026). The rim rattling basket attack continues. Wings have just not had the lateral agility, size and strength to stay with Collins who was at the rim finishing in one way or another throughout the Saturday competitions.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126115' first='Vincent' last='Cronin'] of Edina (2027). I thought Cronin was very consistent this weekend and I could see with another step of perimeter growth, Cronin growing into a prospect that has a big recruiting interest surge at some point in the next twelve months.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560839' first='Xavier' last='Frelix'] of Park Center (2026). The shot making of [player_tooltip player_id='1560839' first='Xavier' last='Frelix'] continues to get attention from schools and his ability to also handle some if needed makes him even more valuable. Game to game he hit shots and Frelix came away from the camp with another option.

[player_tooltip player_id='2815217' first='Logan' last='Junkermeier'] of Fairmont (2026). Although he was on a team where multiple guards just refused to pass the basketball consistently, Logan displayed things that will make him a scholarship player. He's easily 6'10. Logan might even be 6'11 with shoes. He gets up and down the floor well and I thought he touched in shots in the paint pretty well when he did get a chance. His ability to contest shots was strong and Logan had a nice amount of coaches watching him.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560741' first='Will' last='Kirsch'] of Waconia (2026). There was a four basket surge from Kirch on Saturday that really grabbed my attention as all of those baskets were attacking the cup past a solid opponent.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126464' first='Gavyn' last='Lorenson'] of Lake City (2027). We were able to get a look at Gavyn both in the three on three and the Saturday open runs and he was solid the entire day. He was a secondary scoring option on a team full of talent, a good decision maker, and a secondary ball handler playing next to one of the best lead guards in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126446' first='Mustafa' last='Mohamed'] of South St. Paul (2027). Mohamed still has some growing to do learning the game and applying himself but what he is presenting to college coaches in June has put his name on the national radar. At 6-foot-10 with mobility and a solid skill set Mustafa had division one coaches noting him for the future because skills and agility at his size are hard to find.

Emmanuel Oysesanmi of Tartan (2028). Emmanuel was very steady the two times I saw him play. Not as much flashy, more consistent game to game knocking down a couple jumpers, getting to the rim a couple times, and scoring active a couple times. This was in both games.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560749' first='Colin' last='Piper'] of White Bear Lake (2026). Piper made a nice impression. He looked stronger, more assertive and there was some consistency to him when he was able to touch the ball around the rim. Most of it was being active and getting results and Piper finished a nice percentage in the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126447' first='Briggs' last='Sheridan'] of Farmington (2027). "Man that Farmington kid can shoot that thing". "Briggs is knocking down shots, at this size that is such a plus.". "If he keeps making shots like this Briggs is somebody we are going to recruit". When you hear people say stuff like this, that is a stock riser at an event. Especially as a 6'9 player.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560769' first='Ethan' last='Sonju'] of Glencoe-Silver Lake (2026). It does not matter the setting, Sonju scores. He scored all weekend and had people talking. It's amazing, wherever the kid has gone at these camps and AAU games, the opposition isn't always aware of him so they just judge him on his six feet size and frame, and then he torches them.

[player_tooltip player_id='2860540' first='Trey' last='Theis'] of Prior Lake (2027). Theis just continues to show an understanding of the game at good size and skill that translates to the NSIC level very well. He had a good camp scoring around the basket but also moving the basketball, screening off the ball, moving off the screen, rebounding, defending etc. A solid camp overall.
