After doing the same thing last weekend for the girls' live event at LakePoint, let's look at some duos that will have a lot to say about their team's success in '26-26.

NORTH COBB CHRISTIAN - [player_tooltip player_id='2125534' first='Isaiah' last='Chandler'] (2027) / [player_tooltip player_id='2380974' first='Jordan' last='Wiseman'] (2027)

Got a chance to see Wiseman work out before the travel season got cooking, and his athleticism is special, soon to be matched by his burgeoning full-court basketball package. Chandler has been one of my favorite players for the last couple of seasons, having developed into a thoroughly sound combo guard who can fill a variety of roles for you based on IQ and pure "want to". Wiseman has really improved his long-range shooting, and that combined with such springiness getting the basket has enhanced his recruiting profile for sure. Love that Chandler can slide over to the point and relieve the solid [player_tooltip player_id='1543506' first='Grant' last='Robich'], but Robich too has come so far and looks so solid at that spot, that Chandler can focus on his crafty scoring and elite vision and creativity.

ST PIUS - [player_tooltip player_id='2046360' first='Harris' last='Reynolds'] (2026) / [player_tooltip player_id='2046361' first='D'Marley' last='Elliott'] (2026)

As duos go in the ATL-Metro you'd have to make a very strong case any other two overshadow Harris and Elliott in overall production. Reynolds has been a treat to watch, long and slithery, but has added power at the cup to that wiry frame. He possesses all the tools to make a play for a Power 4 D1 look, having added a Georgia Southern offer from the live weekend, and App St in May. Looks to be in cruise control at times out there, almost not challenged, but the truth is he's just better than most of the guys guarding him and makes things look easier than most. No slight to those programs, but he's a higher-level prospect than that. Elliott has gotten some notable exposure this spring with ATL All-Stars on the UA Rise Circuit, and is frankly undervalued for his inside-out, consistently solid numbers at 6-foot-6, a beast putting it on the deck, and a willing back-to-basket threat in the classic Barkley-type mold.

JOHNS CREEK - [player_tooltip player_id='2425890' first='Tatum' last='Holmes'] (2026) / [player_tooltip player_id='2025384' first='Thomas' last='Landeck'] (2026)

The Glads had a good weekend as a group, and adding to the above duo is rising PG [player_tooltip player_id='2245631' first='Christian' last='Cooper'], making it a trio of eye-catching seniors for Coach Tanner Burnett. But looking at Holmes' development, which I've seen relatively up close, it was at first an eye-popping athletic display, but he's added so much polish to his offensive game. He's now a legit threat out to the arc, which makes his finishing in closer, often peppered with high-flying dunks, all the more impressive. He's a versatile defender at 6-foot-5 as well, adding value. Landeck is still the mad bomber from 3-land, a big wing near 6-foot-7 who can get it off fast, and it's pure to watch. He, too, has added to the depth of his game, using his size more on the interior in recent seasons after clearly getting in the weight room to make that transition smoother.

HABERSHAM CENTRAL - [player_tooltip player_id='2385368' first='Jake' last='Mihalick'] (2026) / [player_tooltip player_id='2478479' first='Judge' last='Wilbanks'] (2026)

With the 6-foot-10 Mihalick and 6-foot7 Wilbanks on their frontline, it's an imposing show when taking on the Raiders. They're breaking in a whole new set of guards up in Mt Airy, and that is a challenge for a team that lived on the play of now-departed Enzo Combs, Jalen Davis and Justus Gober the past three seasons. More will fall to the likes of Mihalick, a terrific long-range shooter in the pick and pop four-man mold, and Wilbanks, a gritty competitor and double-double type guy who also can shoot it but makes effort plays and hits the glass with abandon like every team needs. Both of these forwards have added versatility to their games over the last year, a little more foot speed to get by people, and more creativity playing against contact inside the arc.
