DC Live 2026 Standouts Part 1

Held at Sidwell Friends School in Washington, DC, the DC Live event brought together some of the most talented high school basketball prospects in the region and outside region teams from Florida, and West Virginia. Over the course of the weekend, players showcased their skills, athleticism, and competitive drive, making it a must-watch event for college coaches to come into the District of Columbia to scout the future prospects.    Skilled scoring PG. The ultimate BUCKET GETTER…At his best operating out of pick-and-roll, where he displays excellent timing and vision, allowing him to make every read and pass in the book. Aggressive offensive player who is in attack mode every time he steps onto the floor. Loves shooting pull-up 3-pointers in transition. Brings toughness, competitiveness, and swagger. One of the top scoring guards in the country.     One of the best overall prospects I watched in my 1 day attending DC Live this weekend. Donovan is a physical specimen. Who impress with his all-out competitiveness. Legit Three-level scorer who can function on or off the ball. Skilled guard with elite length and explosiveness. Tough to contain, especially in transition. Strong first step and bouncy off one or two feet in space. Embraces contact in the paint...Donovan will be transferring to Oak Ridge (FL) for his senior year.     3rd time seeing Mathias play and he continue to impress every time I have watched him. He is a versatile hybrid forward with impressive offensive skills. Lee is a gifted long-range shooter that also operates well out of the high post, mid-range and has a high basketball IQ. His effort on the glass is notable too. Lee will be a mismatch problem for a lot of teams this season in Class 6 Region Division next year.     Continue to showcase his ability to operate out of ball screens at 6-6. If you put him on the court with his versatility, inside/out 3 man and /or a skilled faceup big, that use his strong physical frame to dominate on both ends of the floor. Collingwood ability to handle the ball is also added skill set to his game.     A refined skillful game. Solid perimeter shooter w/ ability to gracefully put it on the floor. Showed he can handle isolation and attack closeouts. Rebounded well and plays with great confidence. Used his length to be a switchable athletic defender…Competes hard…One of the top wings in the class of 2026 in the state of Virginia...Deshawn attends Hopewell HS.     Jeremiah is a do it all point guard that is fun to watch. He could arguably be one top PGs in the DC area. Possesses the size and overall skill set to impact the game on both ends of the floor. Using his length and ability to score if needed. His most natural skill is his court vision and his ability to pass the basketball. An under-rated guard to keep tabs on college coaches.
