Jeremiah continues to bring a consistent approach to the Kipp’s ability to get going on the offensive end. He applies pressure with his downhill attack, played with great pace, and see the floor well as a decision-maker. Steele used his quickness and basketball IQ to get to his spots, rebounded effectively for his position, and controlled the flow throughout the game.

-Came away impressed with his play during DC Live and at a few different events this summer. Steele will be a big part of what KIPP does this year as a dynamic downhill driver that can really score it 15′ and in. The coaching staff has really changed him to take on the role of defensive stopper this season and if he buys into that like he was this summer– I expect to see a bump in his recruitment.

-Steele will likely be one of the biggest risers in our next set of rankings after a productive offseason. Steele is great at getting a step on his matchup to blow past them and into the teeth of the defense to make a play. Love his ability to improvise off the bounce and change the read/direction on the fly based off of defensive rotations. Steele uses his frame well to carve out space on drives to the rim but also has a nice set of pivot finishes around the rim to score around the defense.

-Steele will definitely be one of the biggest risers in our next rankings update as a point guard that can impact winning in a variety of ways. Steele hits the glass REALLY hard for his size and position, looked good as the conductor for a KIPP offense that produced at a pretty high level, and is pretty versatile at the defensive end of the floor. Love the way that he gutted through some calf cramps and responded to tough coaching to finish with a double-double in the championship win. Think he can be one of the best guards in DC if he can continue to sharpen his handle and speed up the back foot burst to be more explosive in the paint.

Jeremiah is a do it all point guard that is fun to watch. He could arguably be one top PGs in the DC area. Possesses the size and overall skill set to impact the game on both ends of the floor. Using his length and ability to score if needed. His most natural skill is his court vision and his ability to pass the basketball. An under-rated guard to keep tabs on college coaches.

Steele is a wiry guard who excels as a solid two-way scorer and facilitating player. He can knock down three-point jumpers both off the dribble and on the catch. Utilizing his length, Steele can effectively finish at the rim. His scoring prowess extends to all three levels, making him a major league scorer. Legit College level guard for schools to monitor this spring and summer.

-His energy forcing TOs and getting his team out in transition in the 2H flipped the game and led to the eventual win for his team. Steele showed off his speed in the open court and got himself going with a long rebound that he turned into a C2C extension layup with the inside hand just past the swarming defense. His change of speed and low center of gravity allowed him to beat his matchup to the spot even if he got a late start at the outset.
